  The hotel has no concept. Incomprehensible, sluggish animation, evening events only cause irritation. An informal, completely inappropriate address to the guests from the staff "hey, brother!". The service is not up to 5-star standards, the staff is not qualified. There is no sound insulation in the rooms, which makes a restful sleep impossible.

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel again, and once more, it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm, welcoming, and attentive staff who made the check-in process smooth and completely stress-Our room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared—with comfortable bedding and all the amenities needed for a truly relaxing stay. The facilities were equally impressive, particularly the well-maintained pool and the peaceful common areas, which provided the perfect setting to unwind.The location is ideal, offering easy access to the Marina and Old Town, making it both convenient and enjoyable to explore the surroundings. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff and all the management of Pickelabratros Hotels — they are truly second to none.Overall, the combination of outstanding service, comfort, and convenience made our stay unforgettable.   Overall, we were very happy here - great place to go if you have a family because everything is taken care of. Good things: the rooms and all areas are kept very clean. You are allowed to use the waterpark at the other hotel. Most of the staff are friendly and go above and beyond when you tip. The food was pretty good for all inclusive and the wine was also better than other places I’ve been. The animators are awesome and fun - and so friendly and happy and great with the kids (thanks Eli!). There are plenty of things to do here so you don’t really have to go outside the hotel. The scuba diving was organized on site and we had a private boat and great guide (thanks Tiger!). If you are looking for a good store to shop at with no stress, there is one at the other Pickalbatros Hotel where the guy is super nice and leave you alone. There are lots of pools for adults and kids (both warmer and colder) and the beach is small but very nice. Not so good: certain staff very unfriendly (spa reception and normal reception for example), the sushi was amazing and main guy doing it so friendly but the line was sooooo long (maybe have 3 people doing it?), when you’re at the pool area people are asking a lot if you want to book tours, even if you already had one and just wanna relax there, on the way to the kids club there are shops were you also can’t get past without being asked every time you walk by to come in. They started renovating the Asian restaurant pretty early in our stay which we didn’t know in advance, the internet connection is very hit or miss. All in all I would come back again on a family vacation!   We have stayed at the Pickalbatros palace hotel about 12 times and we booked this trip to celebrate my birthday and my partners 50th birthday.This is by far our favourite hotel in Hurghada. The staff are excellent and really helped us to celebrate our birthdays especially my partner’s 50th.We are always treated with loyalty and friendship especially by the staff we have got to know over the last 11 years of staying at this hotel.There are too many names to mention but I would like to say a big Thank you to Ali the beach waiter and Ahmed the Beach restaurant waiter, Also Baheg the breakfast waiter at the sky restaurant for breakfast. All bar staff at the Lobby bar and coffee bars, also the room cleaners. A big thank you to all chefs for the delicious food and the reception manager and housekeeping manage for organising the room Decorations and the beach restaurant for my partners 50th birthday celebration.The only thing I would to like to see improve is the swim up pool bar. I think this is a great asset to the hotel and a lot of guests choose the pickalbatros palace because of this. This was my favourite bar in the hotel, but over the last few years it has declined. The service is not as good as it used to be, you only seem to get served quickly if you have tipped the bar staff- which we do anyway, the staff are different and not as friendly as they used to be and the quality of drinks are not as good. I've spoken to quite a few regular guests at this hotel and they think the same. Please get the swim up pool bar back to the way it was a few years ago. It was the best bar in the hotel.Many thanks to all the staff for helping us to thoroughly enjoy our holiday and birthday celebrations at our second home.We will be back soon.   Stunning hotel, food not great

  Gorgeous hotel grounds, staff amazing, always helpful, friendly and never stop working. Rooms are lovely too, we were in room 1319, ground floor pool view, close to restaurants and bars (quite noisy though as entertainment in the evening is very loud until 11pm every day). We were 2 of maybe 10 English-speaking people here in the whole resort, mostly Russian, German, and French. Food really lets the hotel down, you'll always find something to fill you, but definitely not 5* standard, more like 3* all-inclusive hotel food... Very bland, repetitive, and just blah. Specialty restaurants just do the same as the buffet. There's not enough public toilets around the pool or in the restaurant areas. Entertainment each night is very mediocre. Also, cocktails around the pool are not a good choice – they are served in plastic cups and all taste the same. Overall, the resort is beautiful, but the food and drinks let it down. I would not return.
