  About our stay in Eagle Paradise Abu Soma

  When we booked this holiday, I hadn’t read many reviews. Only after booking the hotel did I start reading them, and honestly, I became a bit worried and even wanted to cancel. However, I’m so happy that we didn’t.The hotel and atmosphere are very nice. The rooms are always clean, and the staff are genuinely kind — you don’t need to tip them for them to be nice to you. They are making improvements every single day, such as changing beach beds and updating things in the rooms and bathrooms.The entertainment team is really impressive. They have great communication skills, are friendly, and always happy to have small talks if you want to chat. The shows performed by the entertainment team are really enjoyable. I especially loved the dances they did at 10am and 3pm — it was so fun and energetic!Regarding the food, breakfast is usually the same every day, but there are plenty of options. There is a chef making eggs fresh for you, and you can ask for an omelette, baked eggs, or scrambled eggs — completely up to you. Lunch and dinner are always different.For those who have allergies or cannot eat certain foods, please note that there are no signs explaining what ingredients are included in the dishes. You will need to inform the reception team or the chefs, and they will be more than happy to help you.Just to add, during our two-week stay we did not experience any food poisoning or stomach issues.Also, there are people walking around the beach trying to sell horse rides, camel rides, and other activities. They can be a bit annoying at times, but it’s their job, and sometimes they don’t take “no” for an answer and may ask multiple times a day.The rooms are very close to the beach, and there are signs along the walkways so you won’t get lost. If you ever need help, you can always ask the hotel staff — they are always happy to assist.One negative thing I noticed (which is not the hotel’s fault) is that many guests reserve beach beds with towels early in the morning and then don’t come back until much later, sometimes after lunch. That can be quite frustrating.During our first days, we were introduced to a company called MDS (I believe that was the name). They help with booking excursions, but please note that their prices are higher. You can find the same excursions cheaper elsewhere — we used getyourguide.com⁠�. As a “welcome gift,” they offered two free supermarket trips, but please note that these are not actually supermarkets. One is a souvenir shop and the other is a perfume shop. We believe they may be connected to friends or partners of the company, but we can’t say for sure.Overall, I truly recommend this hotel. It is budget-friendly, and you will definitely have a lovely holiday here.   Overall review of the hotel

  Hotel is no more than a 3 star, worse problem are the men who work on the beach handing out towels, I could not understand why at 07.00 in the morning all front and second row sunbeds were reserevd until one day I went down at 06.45 to see who was reserving them so early and discovered it was the hotels staff who issue the towels were putting towels on the best sunbeds ( apporx 40 sundeds ) and then charging the guests to sit on them, terrible when they claim the sunbeds are free, they are only free if you want to sit right at the back, there is no beach bar for all inclusive, you have to pay on the beach, the a la carte restaurants were all shut, the bar staff kept getting angry with each other and constantly giving the impression they did not want to serve you, the 2 male entertainers were arguing over the women at the hotel ( you can guess why ) the 2 girls on the animation team were great, much better than the boys, dont expect quality entertainment at night, it was the boys trying to ridicule the girls, it was quite disturbing some night what they were trying ot get the girls to do, Hotel food was good, location excellent, beach lovely, rooms were 2 star standard, very quiet hotel so would suit someone looking to relax, nothing happens after 10.00pm which suited us but a few other younger guests hated it, we loved the peace and quiet though zakaria Attalah, Guest Services / Front Office at Eagles Paradise Abu Soma Resort, responded to this review Paradise team want to thank you for your review and your feedback and appreciate this very much that you take the time to describe your impressions..We thank you again for your feedback and look forward to the implementation of changes to a better vacation experience; we hope to welcome you again in the future

  Fantastic second stay at the hotel

  The hotel has made improvements to the outside areas since our last visits, which has made a big difference.   The resort is beautiful and makes up for the rooms being dated, but they say they are updating them as we were there. Most of the staff are amazing will do anything for you, some not so great with people. The younger staff are great will go out of their way to help you. The resort is beautiful and clean. Food ok most of the time but felt like it was tasteless with seasoning but edible, a lot of chicken on bones, lots of fish and beef too, the beef melted in your mouth, both watering and chefs will do anything for you so that your experience is a great one. The excursions on site are well worth the price you pay, better than the reps excursions as we did a shopping trip with him, and was made to feel unwelcome as we didnt spent a lot in the stores we were taken to, when told the staff at the resort they explained if we had done it with them they would have taken us wherever we wanted and made welcome to do whatever we wanted. The entertainment staff are very nice and offer lots of different entertainment etc. We have said we would try the resort another time to see how far they have improved next time we come.   I had an amazing time here especially it being my first time in Egypt. The staff are very welcoming and kind, especially Joseph at the pool bar. Made sure to keep the drinks flowing and the music playing.
