    Excellent Stay and Outstanding Service

    rating31 May 2026

I recently stayed at Sunny Days El Palacio Resort & Spa from 28 May to 31 May, and I had a very enjoyable experience overall.First, I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Mostafa from the reservation team for his exceptional support and professionalism. He was very helpful, responsive, and made sure that everything was well arranged before my arrival, which gave me great peace of mind.Regarding the hotel experience:The room was comfortable and clean with a nice view, and housekeeping service was consistent and well-maintained throughout my stay. The food was varied with multiple options available in the main restaurant, and overall quality was good with something available for different tastes. The beach was beautiful and well located, offering a relaxing atmosphere with clear water and good access for swimming.Cleanliness across the hotel areas was generally good, including rooms, restaurants, and public spaces. The animation team was very active and friendly, offering entertainment activities during the day and evening, which added a fun atmosphere to the stay.Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel, especially thanks to the professional support from Mr. Mostafa, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.Thank you to all the staff for their efforts.

    Magic vacation

    rating26 May 2026

We have spent a week there in may. This was amazing. We read a lot of bad opinions before and a little bit we were afraid. But we had positive experiences overall. When we arrived late night at the first day we didn’t get the room what we booked. It was a huge room but no balcony and no sea view. And we had 2 rooms but they weren’t neighbouring . We went to the reception and told them that we want a room change. They said that they can change only the next day afternoon. The next day they have changed it we got smaller rooms but with a very good sea view and balcony. Still not neighbouring but in the same stage so we accepted. It was only the problem that on that part where we got the new rooms there wasn’t elevator. So it was hard with the baggages. The coast was beautiful. Also the lagoon and also the sea coast. But it was hard to find free sunbads. The pools were cool and also the pool bar was perfect.😁 The quality of the alcohol was good we liked that. Pina colada was my favourite one. The restaurant was always crowded it was hard to find table. But the food were good we have always found something to eat. There was also a lot of vegetables fruits and cakes. Were all delicious. We tried only the main restaurant and the smaller restaurant when we got the late dinner the night we arrived. But there were more options and restaurants what we could try. The staff at the restaurant and at the bars they were all kind and always smiling. They never asked for baksis. They came always to ask what we wanna drink. The soft drinks were also good. There were several programs during the day and the night but the animation team weren’t so communicative with us. They invited us one time to aqua gym and one time another program and one time they asked if we wanna go to night disco. But they weren’t so talkative it was a weakness I think because the other hotels I have been before the entertainment team were more active. The rooms were always clean the cleaning staff did a good job they came everyday we got everyday new towels also. Also we celebrated there my friends birthday and they brought a cake for her and also helped us to decorate the room and surprise her. It was so cool. We always gave them some dollars to thank that. There are so many shops next to the hotel so we shouldn’t go far for buy some things even food drinks or bags and souvenirs. There’s pharmacy also. They have beauty service also they did us hair braids, that was beautiful. We have tried the massage one time but it has high prices and they did very soft massage. Some renovation works still going on, so it causes some noise when we wanted to relax at the beach. All in all we have great experience with this hotel we enjoyed the time what we could spent here. It worth the price. We would return back, thank you for all!🫶🏻

Not really a hotel for Brits!

    rating25 May 2026

This will be as balanced a review as I can do. We stayed here as a base for my husband and daughter to go scuba diving. I acknowledge that this is a cheap holiday for a weeks all inclusive and expectations reflect this. . I will start by saying the people staying at this hotel are 90% Russian. A handful of British families. This is reflected in our experience. Rooms - our rooms were quite average. Could be cleaner and quite tired and dated. However, was large with a big bathroom. Supplied with a good quantity of water and a fridge available. However, to get to the lift to our room we had to pass through a small corridor of shops where we were harassed by two of shopkeepers several times per day. We just resorted to ignoring them. Food - pretty standard all inclusive buffet given the cost of the holiday - little rotation of choice. However, the dessert section is excellent. If only we could eat just cake! This restaurant is extremely busy - especially at lunch - and given the majority of guests were quite rude and have no idea of queueing etiquette each day was a bun fight. We had to resort to pushing and challenging or we didn’t eat! Did make us uncomfortable though and eating became a chore. We did discover the snack bar at the end of the holiday which was much quieter if you wanted pasta, pizza or burgers. We booked into 2 à la carte - both of which we later discovered were in adjoining hotels - one over the road. Four Corners restaurant was quiet and it was nice to be served at the table. Staff friendly. Food wasn’t the best though and the only thing they could offer my vegetarian daughter was a plate of chips and some rice. They did offer to go to the buffet restaurant with her to bring back food but that defeated the object! Asian restaurant in the Sunny Days hotel next door was better food and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Daytime relaxing - plenty of sunbeds. Much quieter the nearer to the sea you get and away from the hotel and pool. The pool isn’t big and mostly used by families with children. Huge inlet of sea however to swim in. The beach bar staff very attentive and friendly as were the lifeguards. However, do not expect to relax. There is constant interruption from people trying to sell experiences and activities. The hotel spa and beauty centre are by far the worse. They have numerous sales staff who ask you over and over again. On one day we were approached by four of their staff in less than 10 minutes. They can also be quite rude in pointing out your ‘flaws’ that need attention in their opinion. Little tip - we discovered that if you ask the lifeguards for a red flag they will attach one to your sunbeds which is a signal that you wish to be left alone. Worked most of the time and we were hassled much less. Entertainment - great for families with children as lots to do. However, much of the evening entertainment was aimed at the Russian guests. Live singers would start off generic but very quickly descend into just Russian songs. Great if you want to celebrate all things Russian - we absolutely did not and it was our signal for an early night. This hotel served its purpose as a base for us but we probably wouldn’t return.

    Amazing Bartender Ibrahim Al-Ashram

    rating22 May 2026

It was a short stay but really enjoyed it. I had a great Bartender named Ibrahim Al-Ashram. He makes the best cocktails and he was very friendly and polite. He spoke English very well so it made ordering easier. Looking forward to my next visit.
