    Where Luxury Meets Professional Hospitality

    rating03 Jun 2026

My stay at Djorff Palace was truly unforgettable. The hotel is beautifully designed, with stunning architecture and a unique atmosphere that feels like stepping into a luxurious palace. The location on the West Bank of the Nile offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape from the busy city. What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel welcome. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and willingness to help with anything made the stay seamless and memorable. From the moment I arrived until departure, the team provided exceptional service and hospitality.I highly recommend Djorff Palace to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay in Luxor. I would happily return again.

Beautiful hotel directly on the Nile!

    rating28 Apr 2026

The Djorff Palace looks like a set directly out of the movies. It is a beautiful property located on the West Bank of Luxor with boat service to the east side. My husband and I stayed three nights in the Opal. The room was clean and spacious with the most beautiful veranda and view of the Nile. Our experience at the hotel was fantastic, from the great service by entire team to the owner welcoming us. Dr. Marina provided great advice on what to do in the area and arranged tours and drivers for us. Highly recommend. We enjoyed their restaurants, especially the local breakfast and homemade ice cream. And for something truly authentic, check out The Farmers House next door. Mohammad welcomes you into their home and his mother cooks your meal. So delicious. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the East Bank and have a quiet, local experience, this hotel is a great choice..

    Beautiful hotel

    rating07 Apr 2026

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful hotel. Our room (Opal) was a great size with a super king bed and fantastic AC! As other reviews have mentioned, the bed is a bit firm, not quite SE Asia firm (!) and not enough to stop us sleeping. If you like a dark room for sleeping, I would suggest an eye mask. The veranda area is large and has a wonderful of the gardens, pool and the Nile. The hotel is on the west bank, so the free ferry boat is a real bonus and the guys who take you across are skilled and friendly. We also got dropped off near Luxor Temple a couple of times. The pool is really nice, with pool towels, parasels and comfy sunbeds. Ali works hard to make sure you're comfortable. We found all the staff members to be very friendly, helpful and as attentive as we wanted them to be. Dr Marina (the owner) has made an amazing hotel. She's fun to spend time with and extremely helpful regarding which tombs to visit etc. We booked a driver through the hotel at a very reasonable price. Our chat with Marina gave us a clear understanding of how best to spend the 5 hours we had with a driver who was also very helpful. Well worth the money. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and it was well presented, tasted great and good service. However, the best meal we had was at The Lantern Room - about a 10 min walk from where the ferry boat drops you off. Unless you want to stay on the busier east bank for some reason, I would say you'd be hard-pushed to find a more beautiful hotel than this in Luxor. I highly recommend it.

    Just like a movie!

    rating10 Mar 2026

First off, the hotel exterior looks exactly like the pictures—absolutely amazing. We loved the pool, the beautiful gardens, and the stunning Nile view. It truly felt like something out of a movie. I also loved that all the rooms have names and balconies, which added a lot of charm and personality to the stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely seemed to want the best for each and every guest. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was very worldly and brought her own unique quirks and personality to the experience, which made the stay feel even more special. Now for the reason we didn’t quite land at five stars. Personally, I’m not very squeamish, but some members of our group were. There were a few cleanliness issues—some stains on clean towels, hair in the bed sheets, dead bugs in a chandelier, and even a lizard on the ceiling in one of the rooms. That said, other members of our group didn’t experience any of these things, so it may just come down to luck of the draw depending on the room. Additionally the beds were hard, we did read that prior but it dose feel closer to ply wood.We did eat at the restaurant on the property, which has a menu that changes daily. The food was very good, with Egyptian dishes and some Indian options as well. The restaurant also discourages the use of phones, which I personally loved because it made the atmosphere feel calmer and more present. The owner also mentioned that you can order from the poolside menu while dining at the restaurant, which actually gives you even more options.Overall, the property itself is stunning and the hospitality is wonderful. With a bit more consistency on housekeeping, it would easily be an even higher-rated stay.
