    Filthy. It is a drug den. There are many people living there. It is supposed to be a resort, but there are families living in the rooms with all their stuff spilling out onto balconies and walk ways. Lots of yelling and swearing and fights. Not a nice place. Scarey.

    This place should not be called a resort it is one of tge worst hotels ive stayed at. No glasses,tiny TV.old cheap curtains,reception was closed at 4.00pm so nobody to greet you as you arrived,f/kin joke.A backpackers would be a better facility

    this place is quite literally full of crap. the bathroom door is cracked and doesn’t lock, we spotted a lizard as soon as we walked in, the room smelled like urine, and the lighting was too dim. aside from the fact that there was a whole dang gecko in the room, there were also ants. the beds were uncomfortable. the doors hardly provide any privacy or safety (which is much needed considering how there were crackheads walking around everywhere). don’t be fooled by the pictures, the staff here are useless and it’s completely unsanitary. don’t stay here especially if you have children, you do NOT want your child to be exposed to whatever diseases this place has. there was a hole in the roof AND THEY PUT A BAND-AID ON THE ROOF TO COVER IT UP FOR GOD SAKES. i’ve never stayed in a more disgusting place in my life. my family literally had to go and find somewhere else in cairns to stay. it wouldn’t surprise me if we had actually walked into some drug den brothel from a crime show. shame. on. you.

    Dust on walls, fans, etc. Extremely unclean. Used sanitary pads, soap, etc left in bathroom. Dirt and water on bathroom floor. Had not been cleaned. Mould on walls and blinds. Barely any privacy. Loud and looking over a trainline. We stay at plenty of budget accomodation in our travels. This was out of the question. Felt extremely unsafe and dirty with my young family there. Looked like the place was being run as short term accomodation or a halfway house. Do not stay here. Pay an extra $20 and go somewhere else if you value your family.

    Good Choice of Accommodation at the Last Moment!

    We booked this on the night of arrival. The office was closed, but the owner was very quick to respond. He gave us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying days travel. Good, comfortable sleep, and after checkout we were able to leave our luggage there. There is a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room needs some maintenance, but overall a good place to stay.
