Location

This hotel offers a stunning location amidst 28 ha of well-maintained, subtropical gardens directly beside the Nile. An abundance of shops are located in the immediate vicinity. This hotel is located just 1 km from the centre of Luxor. The hotel provides an ideal base for visiting the city's sights, for example, the Luxor Temple.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 5-storey building with a lift and 400 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Further services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service and a laundry service. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 4 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. An extra bed is available for a fee. A desk, and for a fee, a safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments or, for a fee, billiards. In the evenings, guests can unwind to live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. At breakfast and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. The hotel also offers snacks.     Ignore the old photos - theres a new Pyramisa on site

    Ignore any reviews that talk about 'tired old rooms'. As can be seen in the photos, we were staying in the recently completed newer part of the hotel complex. We did not know this at the time - however it is noticeable just how modern and slick the building and finish quality is compared to the look of the other older 'red' looking building and from other photos on this site that complain of the older rooms interiors. Work is still being done to finish this side of the hotel that we were staying in i.e. grouting the entrance hallway floor. Its that new! Staying here in the quiet season is both a blessing and a curse in some respect. Trying to find staff sometime for a drink in the lounge bar for instance, as I was the only one in there took more than a while, and all I could do was walk around the outside of the building to try to find someone? Top tip, if you run out of bottled water you can buy these (incredibly cheap 30 Egyptian pounds) at any of the three bars on site, however, if you have your room made up, you will get two free bottles each time, every day. The Pink Panda Chinese restaurant is fantastic and I would highly recommend. Fantastic quality food and service.     It was a rough experience. The lobby and pool area were the aesthetic highlights. The rooms outdated and floors were definitely washed with a dirty mop with a film like cleaner. The slide door to the balcony had no lock. The dresser was half broken…body wash and shampoo/conditioner had a buildup around the bottles. I tried to have lunch, but it was a fail. First sat at the Chinese spot, was given a menu and no server came to take my order, after 15 minutes of waiting in an empty restaurant, I left. Next, I went to the grill by the pool, it was not a clean area nor was the grill having food and oil dried on it. My last stop was the buffet, I got a greek salad and the feta was cubed cheese with a slimy coating, the olives were bad, a fuzz/hair was in my dish, lettuce was not completely clean as well. The next day, I was with my Explorica group, only the buffet was included…a shell was in my egg. The egg were made on a pan with an inch of built up grease and a ton of oil. Very unsanitary and unhealthy.
