Location

Perfect for beach holidaymakers, active holidaymakers, families and nature lovers, this resort is situated on a main road in Marsa Alam, near the beach. It is about 15 km to the centre.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2023. Guests have a choice of 192 rooms, including 72 double rooms, located in a 3-storey main building and several auxiliary buildings. At the resort, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided to guests. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel doctor.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms include a king-size bed. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Simple meals can be prepared in the kitchenette. A telephone, satellite television and a DVD player provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower. As a special feature, guests are provided with cosmetic products. 120 family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The outdoor area features 3 pools. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee) offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. For guests who wish to keep active, bocce and beach volleyball are available. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and aerobics. Various wellness options, such as a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and a dance club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a bar and a lobby bar. Delicious specialities await guests in 2 non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Special meals, including halal food, are also available. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras, including snacks.

    I've just returned from a week at this hotel.Let me start by saying that the biggest asset of this resort is its staff.They are all very friendly and helpful and special thanks need to go the gentlemen working at Reception. They are always smiling, poite, respectful and ready to help at any moment. I don't know all their names but in particular Mr Sayed, Mr Hassan and Mr Mahmood are fantastic people and are worth their weight in gold. Thank you so much.That said, the hotel itself is under renovation and probably won't be at its best until about November 2026. Anybody who goes now will find the main pools empty and sad-looking as renovation work is about to start on them. The sunbeds, both by the pools and at the beach have seen better days and need replacing. The staff around the pool are friendly and helpful.It takes about five minutes to walk from the main hotel area to the beach. You need to cross a busy road but again friendly staff/security guards are there to help you.The beach is quite pleasant and is in a secluded bay. There are various activities going on at the beach during the day and the animation team do their best to involve people. I would particularly like to thank Mustapha for his interesting Arabic lessons at the beach bar.The restaurant is ok and offers both Egyptian food and variations of European food. There was always pasta and a type of pizza for those who wanted it. I preferred to try the local specialities and found them tasty. The main complaint I heard was that the food was often the same and that the hot dishes were never hot but lukewarm. Personally, I always found something interesting to eat and particularly enjoyed the soups, the breakfasts and the omelettes made to order. The waiters were very quick at clearing the tables though and as I was on my own, they often took my food and drink away when I left my table to get something else.The room I had was a mini-suite made up of a lounge area, a bedroom and bathroom. Again, the room had seen better days and needed painting and renovating and there was also a strange smell in the bathroom.There was a small fridge in the bedroom but it was unplugged and in any case the door wouldn't shut so it wouldn't have been possible to use it. Luckily I was there in March and so didn't really need it. There was a kettle in my lounge area but when I examined it on arrival, I found it to be very dirty inside and so they changed it for me the following morning. The room was serviced every day and towels were changed.The main lounge area of the hotel was pleasant and had the only bar open until late as the beach bar and pool bar both closed at 5pm!The animation team did their best to encourage people to take part in the evening entertainment in the Galaxy Bar on the second floor and were pleasant, enthusiastic young people. They need to find a better way of advertising the daily activities on the beach and in the evening though.The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing outside the hotel.There is however a desk where you can easily book excursions and transfers if required.To sum up, this hotel/resort isn't at its best at the moment but will probably be lovely when it's been renovated and brought up to standard. It is nowhere near a 4-star hotel and I could just about give it three stars in its present state.In spite of the state of the resort, I enjoyed my week at the beach and would consider returning to the hotel when the necessary maintenance and improvements have been carried out. As stated at the beginning of this review, the staff are wonderful and really helped me enjoy my holiday.

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would happily come back again.
