  Kekatos Apartments in Lourdas.We had a ground floor apartment (no. 10) and it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The small kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make basic meals, including a microwave and a sandwich toaster which we used for toasties and plain toast. One day the toilet wouldn’t flush and Marina sorted it straight away. Buns were emptied daily and our sheets were changed once throughout a week’s stay. Towels were changed 2 or 3 times. The pool area was always quiet with plenty of sunbeds. It was almost like having our own private pool some days. Also a lovely communal seating area which again felt like our own area as wasn’t used by anyone.Beach, supermarket and tavernas all less than a 5 minute walk away. Would recommend hiring a car to see more of the island or just to get up the hill into Vlalchata where there are more tavernas, supermarkets and a bakery. Set just up the very steep hill in a peaceful location, no music or pool bar, just pure relaxation with stunning views. Mattresses and pillows were not the best but didn’t stop us sleeping! Air con was brilliant but does cost 10€ a night. Plus the safe was 3€ a night and the city tax. Our only grumble would be that the third bed in our room was actually a sofa with bedding on, not even a sofa bed. On our last day Marina opened up the toilet/shower room and gave us fresh towels as we had to check out at 10:00 and we had a late flight, would be good if this facility was open all day so save people going back to their rooms to use the toilet. We would definitely return!

  Hotel Hell: A Review in RhymeNo handle outside,leave your patio wide,Let burglars and bugs come wander inside.No wardrobe, no pool bar, no room to turn,Just lessons in rage you didn’t plan to learn.A sink by the bed wakes all with a splash,The front door and bathroom play bumper-car crash.Air con? That’s extra,surprise, surprise!The safe has a key the size of your thighs.Tiny beds, brick pillows, spine out of whack,A TV so small you need binoculars back.Room's like a coffin, key like a club,A holiday? No. Just a wallet-backed snub.do not go they are small terrible and petty , unless you like hotels from 1984 with charges galore then you will love it , the sink is in the bedroon !!!

  Really let down

  Having stayed at this property about a year ago and being happy enough to rebook our recent stay, I am quite upset to have to write this review.When we arrived we found none of our special booking requests had been taken into account eg top floor, quiet room location. The room we had been given was middle floor right next to the staircase. We know these are only personal preferences and not guaranteed but these were totally the other end of our spectrum.The cost of room air con and room tax had to be paid in cash and getting a receipt was a real chore taking 3 days. In fact there was a disinclination to provide a receipt and I doubt I would have got one had I not insisted.The air conditioning unit insisted on beeping loudly every few minutes and the LED flashed obtrusively throughout the night. We brought this to the attention of the concierge and were made to feel it was our fault (even after she had isolated the unit on the fuse box and it still kept turning on !! ).After this beginning we then started to find things wrong with the room; most I know are little and we should really have complained but we just couldn't be bothered after the attitude and performance to get the receipt and rectify the air con. The faults were dodgy door handle to balcony. Then we also had a foul smell in bathroom that took about a week to clear, hairs all over the blankets and a dried on stain of some sort on one of them, missing light bulb, no bathroom sink plug, water coming up from the shower and floor traps every time the sink tap was run, loose shower trap which came off every time it was trodden on, damaged bannister on the communal landing, loose door shelf in the fridge which fell out every time the door was opened. These are the ones that I can remember and if I wrote all of them it would take a lot more time than I am willing to give to this review .The location, views and pool area are lovely; that is about the only good thing I can say about this time's stay.

  Beautiful studio apartments. To the left of the property it's along a track and down to the beach .To the right of the property you can go down a little back road to the beach .Both take 5 minutes if that .Marina keeps the property and rooms immaculate and is such a lovely lady .Most days we had the entire pool area to ourselves and the views and surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. The supermarket is left then up a bit of a hill but is expensive and so is the one at the beach but you pay it as its needed .There is a coffee ,bakery joined to the one up the hill ,7 minutes from apartments .Air con 70 euros a week but was needed as gets hot with temperatures of 35 up till late in evening. Bus to the capital argostoli is 2 euros and brought our cans of mythos back as 6 euros cheaper then local supermarket so got odd bits from there .I could not fault these apartments and tavernas ,beach ect and would most certainly book again .Thankyou Kekatos for a lovely holiday ❤️

  Beautiful views, quiet beach resort, lovely apartments

  I’ve been here 24 hours and this is exactly what I’m after with a Greek Island holiday. Peaceful, great sea view from my balcony - I can hear the waves lapping into the beach above the noisy Cincadas. The pool is small but fine, the WiFi works fine, the sun beds seem new , and the rooms are fine. Air conditioning- pretty standard- 70 euros extra (why they don’t just include it in the price). Kekatos seemed lovely when we arrived , answered a few Qs, found my wife a hair dryer when asked.
