  perfect hotel

  Jaz Costa Mares completely exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the incredible staff, we had a truly wonderful stay. we was there from 22.5.26-29.5.26.Upon arriving at the hotel at 3:00 AM, we were warmly greeted with a fresh fruit platter. The check-in process was extremely quick, and our suitcases were promptly delivered to our room. We were even provided with a late dinner in our room because of our early-morning arrival—a wonderful surprise that we hadn't expected at all!It is clear that the hotel genuinely cares about the details, which is exactly what makes it so exceptional. Our room attendant, Ashraf, was wonderfully kind, always smiling, and kept the room beautifully clean. Every day, he surprised us by folding our towels into different animals on the bed. Our favorite waiter, Mohamed, was equally amazing. He was always smiling, knew exactly what we liked, and frequently surprised us with our favorite drinks. The service is incredibly attentive; waiters will pull out your chair for you and happily chat with you. Remarkably, none of the employees expect a tip, but we gladly gave them anyway because we were so thoroughly satisfied with the service.The beach service is also top-notch. The staff is always ready to help you set up your sunbed with a mattress and towels. Everything on the property is conveniently located, and we were lucky enough to have a ground-floor room right by the beach. The beach itself is beautifully maintained and cleaned daily. The sea is crystal clear, offering amazing snorkeling with sea turtles, dugongs, and vibrant corals. While there are sometimes boats with other snorkelers out at sea, they aren't there every day and didn't disrupt the peace.The dining experience was fantastic. The food was highly varied, and every meal offered unique flavors. We particularly appreciated the fresh seafood, which was served every other day for lunch or dinner. perfect fresh mango juice. Additionally, since this is an adults-only hotel, the entertainment and activities are perfectly tailored for a mature, relaxing environment.Although the hotel appeared to be fully booked, it never felt crowded. We didn't encounter any lines for food or have any trouble finding an available sunbed. Furthermore, the staff actively monitors the beach to prevent guests from reserving sunbeds and leaving them unoccupied.We were truly able to unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we haven't slept so well in a long time. Thank you to the entire team at Jaz Costa Mares; we will definitely be coming back!   JAZ Costa Mares - A Red Sea Experience Worth Every Moment

  JAZ Costa Mares completely won us over. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and that impression only grew stronger throughout our stay. I'll mention some names, but honestly, the vast majority of the team here is exceptional and goes out of their way to make your holiday special.Animation Team - the heart of the hotelA huge shoutout to the animation team. DJ Felix deserves special recognition. His music sets during activities were spot on. The track selection was excellent, and he kept the volume at a level that felt lively without being overwhelming. Some guests preferred it louder, others quieter, and the team clearly tries to accommodate everyone, which says a lot about their attitude. The team is led by Bruno, alongside Quinty, Felix, and a few others whose names I didn't catch, but all of them brought great energy and enthusiasm every single day.Food & ServiceThe food was consistently good throughout our stay. Variety, quality, and freshness were all on point. Most of the waitstaff were fantastic: attentive, friendly, and never expecting tips. Ibrahim and Tarek in particular stood out. Always smiling, always professional. I personally tip at the end of my stay rather than at the beginning, and I truly believe the staff here earns every bit of it. That said, a small number of waiters seemed noticeably less engaged once they realized a tip wasn't coming on day one. A minor but noticeable contrast to their otherwise stellar colleagues who remain warm and professional regardless.Rooms & HousekeepingOur room attendant Hamada was wonderful and clearly takes pride in his work. The towel art was a lovely touch and always brought a smile. This is just a friendly thought for the hotel: the housekeeping team works incredibly hard, and since towel art is more of a bonus than an expectation, perhaps it doesn't need to happen every single day. It's a beautiful gesture, but giving the team a little breathing room now and then seems well deserved.Wildlife - absolutely stunningPort Ghalib and the surrounding area offer incredible wildlife experiences. From the hotel and nearby waters we spotted sea turtles, manatees, blue dot rays, barracuda, unicorn fish, herons, an osprey, swallows, and storks. Nature lovers will be in paradise here. Note that some tourist boats in the area approach the animals quite closely. This is not something the hotel controls, but it's worth being aware of.Minor issuesA couple of things worth mentioning: some tables in the dining areas wobble, which is a small but fixable annoyance. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable at times. Manageable, but could be improved.SuggestionThe evening entertainment is enjoyable, but having stayed at other hotels with a similar style to JAZ Costa Mares, we noticed that some properties offer a more enriching evening program that connects guests with the local culture and environment. JAZ Costa Mares is located relatively close to Luxor, making Egypt's extraordinary history feel tangible and within reach. Combined with the breathtaking and incredibly fragile wildlife in these waters, it would be wonderful to occasionally offer talks by Egyptologists or presentations about local wildlife conservation. The manatees, turtles, and rays here are extremely rare. Helping guests understand how precious and vulnerable they are could make a real difference. It would add real depth to the experience and set JAZ Costa Mares apart.OverallJAZ Costa Mares is a genuinely wonderful hotel with a team that clearly cares.   Very good hotel with a few minor flaws

  Jaz Costa Mares is an excellent hotel with a few shortcomings, which I will mention at the end.Relatively smaller hotel for adults only, convenient for couples and a quiet holiday.Excellent food, perfect service from all the staff, cleaning in the room, cleanliness in the entire area.An abundance of different activities - gym, massages, water aerobics, yoga, table tennis, table football, darts, petanque, billiards, volleyball, snooker with balls, etc.Beautiful clean pools, sandy beach with gradual entry into the sea.Two quality à la carte restaurants, several bars.Unfortunately, other hotels are being built in the neighborhood of the hotel, which is quite a common phenomenon in Egypt. But the noise is not particularly disturbing.A lot of cruise ships come to the hotel's bay every day, taking tourists for snorkeling to the coral reef with turtles and dugongs. But this does not bother the hotel guests in any way, because the boats are anchored quite far from the beach.However, I would like to point out a few things that unnecessarily spoil the otherwise excellent impression of the hotel:- very slow internet connection with frequent signal outages,- fully paid minibar in the room, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this category,- very small bathroom (washbasin right next to the toilet).If someone does not mind these shortcomings, I can otherwise warmly recommend the hotel.
