  It was wonderful time in Marina Lodge. Room was clean and every day cleaned (service made suprising towel animal!) . Animations were amazing experience (especially fire show!). Beach is beautiful and served delicious cappuccino. It wasn't hard to find something to eat on every meal. Waiters (especially Mohamed Sobhi) were kind, helpful and positive. Their services made that our every meal was pleasure. Lifeguards made us feel safe and they were always smiled.   Good morning. Marina Lodge Hotel and its staff pleasantly surprised me this time. The staff is very friendly and everyone is smiling 😁 Abdellatif, Mahmoud - reception. Fahmey, Ammar, Mohamed, Shoukry - bar. Adgam, Safwat - chef restoran. The service is superb, the guys at the bar work 10 stars 💪. The cuisine is excellent, a lot of seafood has appeared 🦐🐙🦀, chef Adgam is very attentive to each guest 💞. If you need anything, the staff responds immediately and it doesn't matter where you are in the restaurant, at the reception, in the bar or in your room 👍👍👍.   Excellent stay from start to finish. Hotel staff are so helpful and friendly. Food was very nice and varied. A smaller hotel with as much attention and service. The rooms are spacious and themed as described. Room service was excellent and no complaints. The towel art made us smile. The bar staff were friendly and serviced well.   Hello, dear friends, like-minded people and travelers!I want to share my impressions of my 36th vacation in Egypt. I stayed in Marsa Alam at the Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib 4*, all-inclusive system. This is the first hotel I have returned to for the fifth time. The previous times the hotel made a pretty good impression, but I am always afraid to return, because disappointments are very common. I flew from Rzeszow to Hurghada, the transfer from the airport took about 4 hours through an amazing desert road at dawn. I arrived at the hotel in the morning. I was greeted very kindly at the reception, offered drinks, breakfast, then checked in. The room was on the third floor, a plate of fruit was waiting for me and a very beautiful view of the sea and the port. At night, a yacht was parked under my balcony. Oriental style room, very nice, cozy and clean, 1 bed, sofa, dressing room, safe, fridge, table, small table. Water is provided daily, there is a set for making tea and coffee. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. Everything works great. Small balcony with wicker chairs and a table. The view from the balcony is simply amazing. They cleaned well. "Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib 4*" - a small hotel, 198 rooms, but very cozy. The territory is not large, but green and beautiful. There are 2 swimming pools (one with children's water slides), main restaurant, 2 bars, amphitheater. At the same time, the location of the hotel is very advantageous. It is a 40-minute walk to Port Ghalib, there is a water taxi. Port Ghalib is a very beautiful tourist area: the coast, yachts, palm trees, hotels, restaurants and shops. At night, everything is illuminated, there are many people. Food. There is one main restaurant and a bar on the beach. The restaurant has a normal selection of dishes, everything is fresh, cooked deliciously. The bar on the beach serves fast food. Alcohol is of normal quality for Egypt. The service at the hotel is good. All the employees are friendly and polite, there is a guest relations manager, she really helps in solving small problems. The entire hotel is managed by the manager Mr. Shaban Ghanem, I want to thank him very much for the excellent service and attention to the guests.On my birthday, they brought a cake to my room, it was very nice. There is animation in the hotel, and in my opinion it is wonderful. Stretching, volleyball and dancing are held on the beach. There are also evening dance shows and entertainment of the type. At the same time, there is no very loud music, for which I am very grateful. Beach. The hotel built a beach on an artificial island, which is connected to the bridge across the canal. The distance to the beach is about 500 meters. The road from the beach is beautiful in itself, especially at sunset. The beach is sandy, large, clean and very well equipped. There is a large bar, shower, toilet. Sun loungers and mattresses are new and comfortable, towels are clean. You can sunbathe in the sun, or you can lie in the shade under the roof. Beautiful yachts constantly sail from the beach to Port Ghalib, even large cruise liners enter the port, but they do not interfere with swimmers, but instead give the rest a special charm. This is one of the most interesting beaches in Marsa Alam. Sea. The bay is completely protected from the wind, there are no waves. The entrance to the bay is through a small cleared area. I entered carefully, I did not wear coral slippers. There is a coral wall along the bay. In general, this was my ninth vacation in Port Ghalib. I knew the flora and fauna of this bay very well. I considered it one of the most interesting in Marsa Alam. I do not know for what reason, most likely due to global warming, but the underwater world has become significantly poorer, unfortunately, this is the situation throughout Marsa Alam and not only. The number and diversity of marine life has decreased. Previously, you could meet 1-5 turtles in one swim, now it is a rarity, I managed to swim with only two. The fish have also become much smaller. Even the color of the coral has become poorer. I was pleased with moray eels, rays, barracuda and schools of mackerel.I didn't take any excursions because I tried almost all of them. I went to my friend's place for 1 day at Hilton 5* for a separate fee. The hotel is great, but it is in a different price category. Unfortunately, the legendary Abu Dabab Bay has also lost its colors, and its underwater world has become poorer. I took a taxi to a wild bay, which is on the other side of the port, it is quite beautiful and interesting for snorkeling. On my birthday I had dinner in Port Ghalib at my favorite restaurant Divino. Conclusions: the hotel did not disappoint, on the contrary, it became better. The food became tastier and more diverse, the territory is green, blooming and clean. The rooms have retained their unique Arabic style. My room had a fabulous look. Moving the beach to an artificial island is a very good idea. The beach is very comfortable. The service is excellent, you feel that the guest is taken care of, the hotel is run by a very professional manager. I felt almost at home. There are minor shortcomings, but they did not spoil the rest. As for a 4* hotel, everything is fine.
