This hotel is surrounded by the stunning desert landscape and seascape of Naabq.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2022. Guests have a choice of 6 junior suites, 2 suites and 380 double rooms located in a 3-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a babysitting service, medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel doctor. A business centre with projector and a flip chart and pens is available. The conference room is available for conferences, lectures and meetings.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. The resort has 380 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex, which includes 3 outdoor pools (no extra charge) and 2 children's pools is a great place to work out or just relax and unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and archery. With windsurfing, kitesurfing, catamaraning, diving and water aerobics available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Banana boat rides, kayaking and snorkelling are organised by third-party operators. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, billiards, darts, squash, yoga and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Subject to charge: anti-ageing treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include 2 restaurants, a breakfast room, a bar, a lobby bar and a piano bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. Special extras for all-inclusive holidaymakers include, for example, live cooking, children's meals and vegan food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The drinks menu includes a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as international brands.

    Worse resort experience in my life

    This hotel did not just have “issues” — it failed at the most basic standards of hospitality, hygiene, and customer care.We lost hours of our vacation because the hotel and Booking.com could not even properly process a reservation. Then we lost even more time dealing with yellow shower water that management acknowledged but never fixed.Three rooms. Same issue.What made the experience worse was not the mistake itself, but the complete indifference shown by management. Complaints were dismissed, concerns were ignored, and no accountability was taken despite clear evidence.A guest should not have to beg for clean water in a hotel.I will be uploading the photos/videos documenting the condition of the water and the delays because future guests deserve transparency before spending their money here.     I had a very good stay at Aurora Oriental Resort. Everything was good, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent.     Aurora Sharm is one of the best hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. The location is excellent, and the beach is very suitable for swimming from inside the marina area. It is also a good place for snorkeling, although I recommend buying or bringing sea shoes for extra comfort.The food was good and varied, with plenty of options throughout the stay. The restaurant staff and all hotel employees were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.There are entertainment activities during the day. They are not very intensive, but there are still activities available, and the animation team is present on the beach and around the swimming pool to chat with guests and create a pleasant atmosphere.The hotel also has a tennis court and a kids' club supervised by a very kind and lovely girl named Nawal. She was wonderful with the children and deserves special thanks.I would also like to thank Mohamed from the beach cleaning team, as well as Abanoub and Milad from the bars for their excellent service and kindness throughout our stay.Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would be happy to return again.     This hotel is amazing. As a solo traveller I have never felt more welcome anywhere I have visited. The food is very nice and always something for the picky eaters.The staff at the pools are always friendly and polite (a special mention to Sammie), no one makes a pillow out of a towel like he does.I have been here a total of 3 times ...so far. I will definitely return in the future.
