  Our first trip to Egypt,and to a Tui Holiday village and it wont be our last, in fact we are already looking to return next May already! And we never return to the same hotel twice! We stayed in room 10318 adjacent to the main reception and hotel area, in a family room. The room was clean and spacious, huge balcony and amazing view over quiet pool,the sunsets from this room was amazing. It was ideal for us, but is a little noisy for light sleeper as next to out door terrace where the evening entertainment is, but it didn't bother us at all.Our cleaner was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and he worked so hard keeping our room clean and fully stocked with water, fresh towels and toiletries.The food was much the same as any all inclusive, and even picky eaters would struggle to moan here. The American restaurant was a stand out for us! Brilliant and the staff were so attentive, the manager Mr Wahlied was lovely too. We enjoyed the chinese too, and cant wait to try the others on our return!Biggest hit for us was pool temp,we have never been to a hotel with pools that aren't ice cold on getting in, the pool were a perfect temp and we spent more time in them than any previous holiday! Diaa the lifeguard was brill, we loved him, happy,smiley and always on had to help us!The jetty and sea was incredible and the lifeguard there (unfortunately we didn't get his name) was the best! He knew all the sealife, was helpful,took his time to talk to our 8 year old daughter about thr red sea and even got her to come in the sea when she was scared! He was amazing!We were so apprehensive to come to Egypt,but the staff right from the security guards helping you crossover the road to coral sea aqua park to the security guards and lovely dogs on the gate, the buggy guys, reception staff, the gardeners (who work so hardworking keep it pristine) to the man who has Bobby the camel on the beach....they are what made the holiday for us!!The tui reps were brill keeping us laughing and busy through the day, and even the Italian reps who run the foam party on the beach....all worked so hard to keep not only the kids, but parents entertained!Our biggest shout out though is 2 Mohamed the pool bar waiter and Ahmed (Mabappe)the waiter....they are a credit to CSHV and really hope to see them both there next year!   A few issues but would still return

  Recently returned from a 7 night stay here at holiday village red sea as 2 adults and 2 children age 14 & 10. Although we would return there were some frustrations during our stay. On arrival it was nearly midnight so we planned to put our things in the room quickly then head for some quick food before bed. When we arrived at the room there was only beds made up to sleep 3. We told the staff member who guided us to our room with cases and he said he would get someone to come and make it up whilst we went for food. We went for food and a walk around the grounds and headed back to the room, an hour after arriving. The bed still wasnt made up so we had to call reception. They said they'd sent someone right away, so we began to unpack. Over half hr later still nobody had come so my husband had to go down to reception. Not what you need at that time on a night witg tired kids. The next day we came back to the room after a day at the pool to find now towels in the bathroom. A call to reception they said they'd send someone. 45mins later still no towels so again had to chase! During this time we'd requested on the app to have pool towels exchanged. When the man came with normal towels he took away our 4 pool towels. When we returned to the room later that night we found only 3 pool towels had been delivered to us not 4! We waited until the next morning and let reception know on our way to breakfast. When we returned to the room no towel had been delivered. Another phone call to reception and 2 hours later the 4th towel finally arrived. The constant having to chase things and the time it then took to resolve was extremely poor. We did fill the feedback form in and was then asked to speak to reception, who wanted to know what they could offer us to put this right, we didn't need/want anything but they insisted so we agreed on some soft drinks for the and the WiFi cost deducting from the bill. A couple of niggles, the pool towel exchange process needs reviewing. Never been anywhere before where there isnt a designated area to exchange towels. Here the instruction is to leave in the shower. That means you technically dont have any for that day if you did that. You can request on the app to have them exchanged, however they come and collect old ones but dont bring new ones at the same time so is a long drawn out process. We had late check out with our booking until 6pm. Between 5.20pm - 5.50pm we had 3 people knocking on our door during that time asking if our cases were ready to take. This was rather annoying whilst we were trying to get ready and pack the last few bits. Overall the hotel and grounds are lovely, very well kept and clean. We spent most of our time around the quiet pool, always plenty of sunbeds and the bar at this pool was much better. The main resturant food was standard for buffet style. We ate at the American al acarte once which was really nice and service excellent, our girls loved the milkshakes. We also ate at the Chinese, service here was very slow, food warm not hot and coincidentally all 4 of us ended up with bad stomachs the day after here which was day 6. The food court is strange, would be better as a snack bar where people can help themselves/grab a quite bite during the day. We didnt spend much time in the hotel on a night as entertainment was poor. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants right outside the hotel. Falcon adventures is over the road, highly recommend for booking trips. You can use the coral sea over the road for the slides/pool between 10-4.30. We went here once. Was very busy, was ok for a couple of hours.WiFi is £10 for the room, you're given a code so everyone in the room can connect. We didn't have any connection issues. Our kids didnt use any of the kids facilities/clubs so cant comment on them, although reading the app there was always plenty going on.   Excellent family pick

  This was a late switch holiday from Dubai due to the troubles ongoing. We wanted guaranteed sun and warm.pools which it delivered. The room is very spacious, comy very, working but noisy air con. It's not modern but looked fine. The cleaner did a good job, even removed a dead pigeon that passed away on the balcony. Can be a chore getting pool towels replaced, the holiday village app wasn't great for logging requests.The grounds are immaculate, great job by the gardeners. Plenty of African exotic birds on site.We mainly used the quiet pool. The staff there were so helpful. Tip well and all staff here really look after you. Plenty of sunbeds at the quiet pool, barely any spare at the activity pool.We did the aerial activity, great fun. The sea is full of various fish, beware what you may encounter.The food was good enough, plenty of chicken and beef dishes. However the evening entertainment was basic.We also managed one night away in Cairo to see the pyramids, cheap to do if you sort your self.Overall a great holiday, perfect weather, pleasant family stay with excellent staff.   Just returning from Coral sea holiday resort...had the absolute best time, we will 100% by returning! Big shout out to Mohamed the bar man, he was there day and night serving behind the bar...works extremely hard, always bringing us drinks straight to our sunbed at the side of the pool, keeping us topped up throughout the day. Friendly and a good laugh and nothing was ever to much trouble.
