Location

This hotel is located in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh on the South Sinai Peninsula and is ideally situated on Nosrani Bay, overlooking the entrance of the Gulf of Aqaba and Tiran Island, famous for its exotic nature. On the inland side, the hotel's setting is further enriched by the backdrop of the Sinai Mountains. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 207 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A fortifying breakfast is served daily.

    We initially picked this Hotel complex from a few given by our travel company based on descriptions and the many positive reviews.We were then 'slightly' concerned a few days before travelling, as some regular guests just returning had said that standards were slipping and it was not quite as good as it had been !We have to say that we found our stay here superb. We can not report one single issue of note.The junior suite we had was very good, and as it came with the hotels own 'UNIQUE' service, we found the reserved pool and lounger area just outside very convenient.We made use of the UNIQUE lounge services on several days, and found all the staff to be friendly, knowledgable and very customer focused.The breakfasts we split between the main buffet and the UNIQUE area, and found both to be very nice.     Relaxing, clean and well presented - highly recommended

    We stayed as a couple for a week and had an enjoyable time. We particularly liked the village style layout. This hotel was selected as we don’t not like ‘all inclusive’ packages. We opted for bed and breakfast, which allowed us to explore the locality and vary our choice of restaurants. Half board is available, as is an upgraded ‘Unique’ package. There are quite a few restaurants in the locality to choose from within 15-20 mins walk. We did eat at the pool bar at lunch time on two occasions, and it was nice. Our standard room with garden/sea views was very comfortable and well presented. The bed was lovely. The room was on floor 6 and we had panoramic views. We were also offered a ground floor room as an alternative if we wanted.Breakfast was plentiful and with a huge choice. There were no queues.The pools were nice and quiet except for brief periods during aqua aerobics. The hotel was under occupancy during our stay and sun beds were plentiful. The thing that really impressed us was the upkeep of the hotel - everywhere was spotless and the gardens extremely well maintained. There were cleaning teams on the go constantly, even cleaning the leaves on plants in reception. The place has a premium feel to it and was very relaxing during our stay.     Accident due to lack of safety

    I have just returned from staying at the Lopesan Villa del conde resort staying for 10 nights. Unfortunately on the 2nd day, I deeply cut my foot due to broken tiles in the main pool, requiring 4 stitches in the bottom of my foot. The lifeguard Victor was excellent ( throughout my stay he cleaned the wound for me without any problems). What did worry us was after this incedent happend the lifeguard explained to us that this wasn’t the first time this had happend and other people have been injured before, with 2/3 people also requiring stitches. I spoke to Isabella in reception who wouldn’t obviously admit this stating “ how would the lifeguard know”.The conversation I had with her really frustrated me as I explained how I don’t believe how the hotel took responsibility. After the incident happened on Saturday 4th of April, the pool was opened for 2 full days without any signs meaning no other guests knew about this. None of the hotel members of staff ever asked me to point out where I got into the pool and where it happened.I spoke to the jet2 rep ( James) who came to visit in reception, and on Wednesday 8th of April a sign was put up outside the pool with someone that looked like they fixed this.I said to Isabella“ I don’t believe the hotel took any responsibility after the incident”, she then stated “ well nobody else was injured, we are taking responsibility now”. Isabella clearly didn’t show much concern whatsoever ( as seen in other reviews of others guests who have stayed at this hotel) . I also asked to speak to the hotel manager and Isabella advised me that the hotel manager would not be available at all ( also what an other guest has stated in a review said by Isabella). To the staff member named Yanira, I reallyAppreciated as she was able to go get me the medication I required , and I was able to stay in contact with her.This could have been so easily prevented and wouldn’t have caused all the pain and distress I went through, and it is clear now to me now it was never going to be admitted.It really meant such a big loss of enjoyment to the holiday and was so disappointing as this hotel is amazing with their facilities, rooms etc.I wouldn’t have anything bad to say about the hotel in general, however this could have been so easily avoided. Throughout my stay I had to be in a wheelchair as the hotel didn’t have any crutches, also meaning I couldn’t do activities and anything properly independently. I have only just turned 18 and it was my first holiday without my parents, with my partner. I would have not expected this incident with it being rated a 5 star hotel.I do appreciate the service I received from the members of staff who helped me.     My experience at this hotel has been deeply disappointing and far from what one would expect from a property that claims to be a 5-star establishment. The facilities are clearly in poor condition: neglected common areas, rooms lacking proper maintenance, and numerous details that reflect a concerning lack of investment.The level of service is equally inadequate. Customer service is slow, ineffective, and in many cases practically non-existent. On top of that, the attitude of some staff members can be unprofessional and even indifferent to guests’ needs.That said, it is important to highlight that the issue does not seem to lie solely with the staff, but rather with poor management. It feels as though the managers are only focused on short-term profit, completely overlooking customer care and service quality. This lack of vision and leadership directly impacts both the working environment and the overall guest experience.In conclusion, this hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star property at all. It feels more like a 2-star hotel… with 1-star management.     Returning Lopesan guests, badly let down — and the recovery made it worse

    We loved the Lopesan Baobab four years ago, so booked the Villa del Conde expecting the same standard. It wasn’t close.We arrived at 8pm after a full day of travelling, had dinner, walked, and went to bed. The morning after, around 10:30, we raised a formal complaint — tired rooms, inattentive service, and a general sense the property is coasting on its rating. Guest services said they’d “try to sort” compensation; the duty manager came over briefly to acknowledge it. By just after 12 we’d heard nothing, so we walked out to look at alternatives, found a much better-run hotel nearby, and came back at 2pm to check out.The duty manager was sympathetic and told us, in his own words, that he personally wouldn’t have charged us the second night — but it wasn’t his decision. We were charged anyway. Whoever made the actual call never came out to face us.The “compensation”, when we got back to the room, turned out to be half a bottle of wine and a note inviting us to welcome drinks we had already been invited to.A vague morning promise used to run the clock past checkout, a token “gesture” that wasn’t a gesture, and the decision-maker hiding behind the door while a sympathetic deputy delivered the bad news. The Baobab is a five-star hotel. This isn’t.
