Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Naama Bay on the red coast. It is approximately 11 km from the airport and only a 2-minute walk from the commercial and tourist centre.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 76 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided to guests. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. Daily newspapers are available for purchase. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. Many units feature a sea view, which creates a particularly lovely ambience. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, satellite television and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Bathrooms with wheelchair access can also be booked. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. A hot tub can soothe sore muscles (no extra charge). A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example tennis, beach volleyball and golf or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding. With catamaraning or, for a fee, water skiing, windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling, diving and parasailing available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sports options available to guests include table tennis or, for a fee, billiards. After a long day, guests can recharge in the wellness area, which offers a solarium or, for a fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    A Tired 3-Star Hotel, Not a 4-Star Resort ⭐⭐

    ⭐☆☆☆☆ More like a tired 3-star hotel than a 4-star resortI stayed at Lido Sharm Hotel in February 2026 and unfortunately I left very disappointed.The biggest issue was not the food – it was the condition of the hotel itself. Almost everything feels old, worn out and in need of replacement or major refurbishment. The rooms, furniture, fittings and many of the facilities look as though they have been used for years without proper investment. Some items were so old and damaged that they looked completely out of place in a hotel claiming to be 4-star standard.The hotel feels stuck in the past. Instead of feeling like a relaxing holiday resort, it often felt like staying in a property that has been running on minimal maintenance for a very long time.The food was not terrible, but it was nothing special either. The choice was limited, the menus were repetitive and after several days it became very predictable. For a short stay it might be acceptable, but for a longer holiday it quickly becomes boring.The location in Naama Bay is probably the hotel's strongest point. It is convenient and offers great views. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and I have no complaints about them personally.However, a good location and friendly staff cannot make up for a hotel that is so outdated. In my opinion, calling this a 4-star hotel is very generous. Personally, I would rate it as a tired 3-star hotel at best.There are many hotels in Sharm El Sheikh offering much better value for money. Unless the hotel undergoes a major renovation, I would not return and would not recommend it to friends or family.My rating: 1/5Pros:Excellent location in Naama Bay Friendly staff Nice sea views Cons:Extremely outdated hotel Old and worn furniture and equipment Poor overall condition and maintenance Repetitive, average food Not worthy of a 4-star rating My honest rating: 3 stars would be generous, 4 stars is difficult to justify.

    Excellent location, rooms have a fridge and kettle and are stocked daily with water and tea bags / coffee.The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable with a powerful shower.The food is good and the breakfast is really good with omelettes cooked for you and a large selection of meats and fruit, cereal and bread etc.The staff are really helpful and will always help you.I have stayed here quite a few times, it is excellent value for money.If you have any issues they will be resolved immediately- just tell reception.Overall I would highly recommend this hotel- I’ve stayed at quite a few in Sharm over the last 30years and this one is the one I always return too.

    I kike this place. It's my 4 pcs here. Yes, hotel doesn't new and after renovation, bit it it silenty and very good for older people.If you will be in Sharm, stay in LIDO!

    It’s located right beside the beach so it is easier to enjoy the sea Next to the hotel U can find a place to have shopping and make talk to other people from different culturesIt’s peace and quiet in here what makes it a cool place to roll in if U just want to relax and talkThe lowest floor has some problems with the pipes, so I recommend to get the higher onesIf U make a tip or a present for the stuff they will try to make you happy at least for the next 2-3 days
