  Great hotel, fab staff

  Great hotel, customer service is next level, pool staff. Entertainment,bar staff, restraunt staff are all so welcoming. Our aqua gym guy eid is great always has everyone up doing water areobics hes great. Its our 2nd trip here we love this hotel.   10/10 Amazing hospitality

  We are here till Saturday. We have had lots of holidays but this hotel and the staff really sticks out. Not a super big hotel like some of Sharms hotel and that is what makes this a little more personal. Never has hotel staff made such an impression than all the staff at Naama Bay Waves. They make you feel like Royalty from day one. Nothing is a problem working long hours with constant smiles on their faces. Pool guys know you and put your towels out on same beds you choose on day one. Changing them mid day for fresh towels Pool waiters see your drinks are near empty and replace before they run outDining room staff know you and get you the drinks you have before you ask for them.   Second time here.

  Just came back from a weeks break, our second time here. We had a great time the 1st time and it was just as good the 2nd time round. Staff are absolutely amazing, they all remembered us and it was so nice to see some of the same staff. The hotel is small but has everything we were looking for. Its very clean. Our housekeeper was amazing, Hakim. We always had a surprise made from towels on our bed.Loved the waterslides and wave pool. Staff around the pool area are so good. Very alert and good at what they do.We especially missed Bob (pool area) as he was on leave and we really wanted to see him again but Hany (pool area) was so amazing. Always smiling and asking if we were ok and doing everything before we even had to ask. Hes a great guy. A big asset to the hotel. Hosam and Mahmoud (bar staff) are amazing. Always remember drink orders and always make time to come talk to us. Also a big thank you to Ibrahim in the bar, my husband enjoyed watching the football there and talking to him.Mohamed by the waterslides was really funny, always made us laugh.Ahmed (restaurant) was so good aswell. Remembered us and always bought us fresh juice to our table, always there to greet us. The reception staff are amazing, we came across 2 staff but a big thank you to Alaa Mohamed, he is great. Always on hand to help.We were disappointed with the amimation team, we had Diana and Abdul last year and they were both absolutely amazing and interacting all the time, this time both staff were a disappointment. We asked one of them about what show was on that night and when he eventually did look up from his laptop he told us but it felt like we were bothering him. I dont think they are very good with interacting with people and letting everyone know what shows are on in the evening, when we met some families they didnt even know where the shows were and what was on but the evening entertainment shows were always good. Diana and Abdul made entertainment fun so i think we were comparing them but we always made the most of it because all the other staff made us love the hotel and we will be coming back a third time in October 2027.Its been nice getting to know staff aswell as we do notice how hard they all work and always seem to smile and greet everyone. We noticed some guests were very rude to bar staff, the way some guests talk to staff is not good. The staff always handle it very well and dont react. The staff are all very amazing and respectful which make it hard for us to keep away. We never return to the same hotel but this hotel and staff are like are second home.   Decent hotel but our family caught scabies!!

  I stayed at this hotel from the 26th April - 3rd May. Overall the hotel was nice, the pool area had loads of sun beds and the atmosphere was great! It was in a great location as we could walk through the Naama Bay hotel and were right in the centre of Naama with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel food seemed like it catered for mainly Russian people so English didn’t have much to eat other than fries, We did have an English lunch bar for ourselves but that was only open from 1-2:30pm then wasn’t open for dinner time. Our rooms were decent and nicely sized, they were cleaned every day but sometimes we would come back at 4pm and still had not been cleaned, I also found someone else’ fake eyelash behind our chair which told me the rooms weren’t cleaned too well. The hotel has its own shop right as you come out of reception near the first pool, that shop is overpriced compared to the shops that are a 2 minute walk up the road, the hotel shop also sold us a Dubai pistachio chocolate bar for £3 we packed it to bring home only to see that it actually went out of date in November of 2025!! I think we only spoke to 2 staff members and one life guard, the staff were not overly friendly which was okay we just kept to ourselves. There is only 3 floors and all are quite close to the reception, one night around 1am there was a group of people stood outside the reception area singing, shouting and drinking with a speaker playing loud music which was not ideal as we had children with us that kept being woken up! Me and my family were completely savaged by what we thought were mosquito bites(as mosquitoes are visible in the room day & night), they got more serious as we came home so we went to the drs to be told we actually had caught scabies!! Overall my review is quite mixed because there are aspects that are good but also parts that are terrible which means I would not recommend to anyone I knew.
