Location

A luxury resort nestled into a headland peninsula. The accommodation comprises a series of two-level villas, set in landscaped grounds & water gardens. The hotel offers the independent-minded traveler a beautiful atmosphere, with 350 meters of beach frontage, overlooking Tiran Island; one of the world's best diving & snorkeling spots. The hotel's private beach ensures direct access to the reef. Sharm-el-Sheik Airport is 18 km away.

Facility

The resort has 384 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a king-size bed. Extra beds and children's beds are available upon request and for a fee. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Other amenities available include an ironing set and a trouser press. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym, darts, yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards and squash. There is a wellness area with a sauna and a steam bath and, for an additional fee, a spa, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. The resort offers an entertainment programme for adults.

Meals

Dining facilities include 3 restaurants, a bar and a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast from the buffet or à la carte gives guests many delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. At lunch and dinner, there are plenty of tempting options at the buffet or à la carte. Dinner is also served as a set menu. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Overall this resort is definitely value for money and enjoyable. The grounds are amazingly kept, and beautiful. We got a complimentary room upgrade into a suite apartment, which was amazing. The rooms are very clean, and decorated nicely. The beds are very comfortable, and the air con is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Daily sunglasses cleaning by the pool, always giving out cold bottles of water, room service is quick, and dining staff are very attentive. The lifeguard, Robin, at the pool bar was amazing! So friendly, always giving us new dry towels, saving our beds before breakfast, and overall so kind. Service at the bars is always quick. All the staff are always smiling and happy to help. If I was being picky, my only downfall would be the food. As a picky eater I occasionally found it hard to eat full meals, but most days were fine!     I’ve had an amazing time here. The staff are amazing they are very friendly and always treat you very well. I have felt most welcome down at the pool. The lifeguard Robin has been amazing to me and my partner, he is always checking on us and making sure we have everything that we need. He makes a great effort to keep us happy, setting out our sun loungers for us every day with towels and pillows, brings flowers to the table and makes amazing things out of towels. He is a great worker and has really made our experience more enjoyable.     A relaxing week in a beautiful seaside retreat

    We spent a great relaxing week at this delightful Marriott property and truly enjoyed our stay.Although the resort is quite large, it is spread across an extensive landscaped estate, with accommodations arranged in separate village-style clusters that ensure a great sense of privacy. I would highly recommend choosing one of the front-row rooms or suites overlooking the sea, as the views are simply spectacular. The gardens are impeccably maintained, and several swimming pools are thoughtfully distributed across the different levels of the property, creating a peaceful and spacious atmosphere.The location is also very convenient: Old Sharm is just a 10-minute taxi ride away, while Naama Bay can be reached in approximately 20 minutes.The spa, while relatively small, is managed by a lovely Egyptian lady and staffed by highly skilled and professional therapists, making for a very enjoyable wellness experience.A special thank you goes to several outstanding team members who truly elevated our stay:- Islam, Head of Reception, for his professionalism and willingness to assist at all times.- Kevin, Guest Relations Manager, for his excellent service and attention to detail.- Mahmoud, Beach & Pool Supervisor, whose genuine hospitality and friendly personality made every day more enjoyable.- Haitham at the Calamari Beach Restaurant, who made our lunch breaks particularly memorable.- The ever-smiling Mohammed, who manages the resort’s activities and organized what was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip: the “Pirate” sailing excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park, which is absolutely not to be missed.- Last but certainly not least, Mohamed from Housekeeping, who looked after our room (6402) impeccably throughout our six-day stay. His genuine Egyptian hospitality, attention to detail, and dedication ensured we lacked absolutely nothing.Overall, this is an excellent choice for travelers looking to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of Naama Bay while enjoying beautiful surroundings and genuinely friendly service.If I were to suggest a couple of areas for improvement:1) The breakfast venue feels somewhat cafeteria-like for a five-star resort. An outdoor seating area and a more refined, exclusive design would significantly enhance the morning experience.2) The entertainment program is fairly limited and appears to cater primarily to Russian guests, leaving room for a more diverse and engaging offering.That said, these are only minor observations in what was otherwise an excellent stay.We left with wonderful memories, made many new friends, and are already looking forward to returning.Congratulations to the entire team at Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort for creating such a welcoming and relaxing experience. We cannot wait to come back!     VIP Experience at The Renaissance - A wonderful Holiday

    The Staff make this hotel...All incredibly friendly and helpful. From the GM to the cleaners they simply go above and beyond to make you feel VIP. We will return to see our new friends here 100% including Rami, Dani, Nasser, Robin, Mo (Trips) and too many others to mention. Also a great location with its own stretch of beach. Very good security presence at the hotel, transport service excellent. There really is nothing to fault. We'll be back soon to the Renaissance.     Wonderful experience from start of holiday to.end. Lcation was spot on. Room was fab. Welcome platter of fruit and pastries. All staff was so friendly and helpful. All areas clean and tidy. Beach and sun loungers great always space. Abdelrahman Emary was so friendly and very helpful. Didnt have to lift a finger. Room was decorated with flowers and balloons for birthday and also had cake delivered to room. Restaurant manager Khalil couldnt be more helpful got chef to make us apple pie (just like home). Head chef wss great taking us round the wide selection of foods. Shops on site had everthng you needed. Chemist across road. Will definately be back next year. Cant wait!
