The holiday apartments were built in the year 2005 and modernised in 2019. The resort has 79 rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis, billiards, darts and callisthenics or, for a fee, bowling, squash, yoga and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a hammam and a beauty salon and, for an additional fee, a spa and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Various dining options are available, including 15 restaurants, a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast from the buffet or à la carte gives guests many delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. At lunch and dinner, there are plenty of tempting options at the buffet or à la carte. Lunch is also served as a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Beautiful stay at royal savoy. Facilities are great but even better was the standard of service. All staff in royal went above and beyond, nothing has been too much trouble. Well and truly spoilt. Ahmed Ali and the beach bar gentlemen kept us comfortable all day. Our cleaner suite 4216 worked so hard. Morning room staff and reception all brilliant

    I can’t say enough about how wonderful this hotel is the staff are so helpful and the reception staff will go out of their way to help you. Everyone in this hotel made our stay such a delight and very relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and very clean the beds are very comfortable and I’m picky about my beds.The food is excellent and you have a choice of restaurants.     Severe active construction & demolition — Note: Hotel blocks TripAdvisor on their Wi-Fi!

    Before writing about our stay, travelers should be aware that the hotel appears to block access to TripAdvisor on their guest Wi-Fi network. You cannot load or view reviews while on-site—presumably to prevent guests from leaving live feedback about the current conditions. I am having to post this now using mobile data/alternative access.?We booked a 7-night stay at the Royal Savoy expecting a peaceful, luxury 5-star experience. Having raised concerns about nearby building work prior to travel, we were reassured we would be placed in a quiet location. Unfortunately, from our very first morning, the resort was impacted by extensive, active heavy excavation and demolition work directly adjacent to the property.?From 6:00 AM onwards, excavators, rock drills, trucks, and heavy earthmoving machinery operated continuously. The severe noise, constant ground vibrations, and thick clouds of dust dominated the entire resort environment. Outdoor areas—including the main pool, dining venues, and room balconies—were completely unusable. Simply moving rooms was not an option, as the dust and noise affected the whole property.?The disruption was so severe that we were forced to check out early after two days, vacate the resort, and pay out-of-pocket to relocate to an alternative hotel for the rest of our holiday.?The only positive: On-site Guest Relations staff (Kelly and Violet) were polite, empathetic, and formally acknowledged the severity of the disruption in writing upon our departure.?However, management should not be accepting bookings or falsely reassuring guests when the property is adjacent to an active demolition site. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday, avoid the Royal Savoy until these heavy works are fully completed.

    We travel world wide and this was one of our favourites A relaxing and very enjoyable holiday. It’s a great resort, with friendly and efficient staff. We did start to make a list of staff who provided good service, but then we realised it was all of the staff, without exception, from the gardening staff, the cleaners, the catering and reception staff and management.Excellent and plentiful choice of restaurants and a simple on line app, so you could book the restaurants direct.Really good pool area and the beach was directly in front of the hotel with opportunities to snorkel amongst all of the tropical fish, off the two jetties.If you wanted entertainment and nightlife, the Soho Square, part of the hotel complex was a short walk away, with bars, restaurants and entertainment.We will certainly go back to this hotel for another relaxing holiday.We must mention one staff member, Ahmed, who provided an excellent service around the pool area, providing towels and finding suitable areas for all customers.
