  Well appointed and well located

  Our twin room was ready upon arrival - about 1.30pm, and we were on Floor 5. In reception there are a few stairs to get into the reception and a few more up to the lift, but surprisingly no ramp so your case has to be hauled up! The hotel has clearly been refurbished (very tastefully), and is very smart.The room was well appointed (and we think refurbished too) and we were delighted to see a kettle with tea and coffee. Small mini bar fridge and a good sized, free to use safe. A great bathroom but unfortunately for us, a shower over the bath arrangement, the latter of which was very difficult to clamber in and out of as it was so high. However, very good quality toiletries plus body lotion., and a decent hairdryer.Breakfast was a very calm affair in the restaurant area with an excellent choice of food, all beautifully presented. Perfect location too, as it is a 5 minute walk to Town Hall Square, and all the main sights. Trams run close by but they did not keep us awake. This was our favourite hotel on our trip to 3 capital cities.   Great location and room

  We stayed in a superior twin room on 3rd floor. We had a great view of rooftops. The hotel was lovely and quiet and our room was spacious for 3 nights. It was great to have a bath - with overhead shower. Bath was a little narrow and a big step in! Yet all toiletries and robes and slippers were provided. Beds were comfy with toppers and the room was light and airy with a rustic feel and had air con. Staff all very polite.   Very clean, great location may be noisy in the summer

  The location is great the rooms and hotel very clean Excellent breakfast, fresh, lots of variety, good quality Our room opens on the street in front of the hotel and despite the double pane windows we could hear some noise at night. I am afraid in the middle of the summer with many tourists it may be worse, just a guess The staff is nice but needs to learn how to smile, still feels a little like in Soviet times.   Authentic and beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Comfortable bed, and a lovely view from the 5th-floor window overlooking the rooftops of the old town.
