Location

This hotel is located only a short walk from the Port of Tallinn, the city centre with its railway station and further links to the public transport network, and the old town. Guests will find nightspots within some 2 minutes walk of the hotel and shopping facilities are around a 10-minute walk away.

Facility

The hotel has 275 rooms, including 20 junior suites, 4 suites, 9 single rooms and 240 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. In addition to 2 indoor pools, the pool complex also includes a children's swimming area. On hot days, a dip in the refreshing outdoor pool is not to be missed. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols the sun terrace complete the holiday.     Arrived late on Tuesday July 15th (9 PM) to meet Viking cruise ship the next morning. Had prepaid in full. No one at counter. Had to go to spa area to register our arrival. Room appointments were mediocre at best. The only good thing I will say is the breakfast in the morning was very good although I was told it was included when I booked but was told it was not when we checked in so we had to pay for it. All in all, not a very well-run operation. Perhaps Tallink should stay with shipping, Sandra P, Guest Services / Front Office at Tallink Express Hotel, responded to this review Dear Michael H,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us.We are sorry to hear that your arrival experience did not meet expectations.     The room was very great and cozy. The spa is a must go for 10€ as a adult! Customer service was very great at the spa from the lady upfront named Polina! She was very sweet and helpful! Special thanks to her.

    The family room was really small. It basicly included two double beds with no other space. It looked visibly dirty. Noise from other rooms came through ventilation and made sleeping hard. The staff was really unfriendly. Breakfast was ok.

    Central hotel in Tallinn

    A nice hotel central in Tallinn with €10 access for guests for the spa/pool. The bedroom was fairly big and clean with a comfy bed, a large mirror and a desk. The bathroom had a funny smell coming from it and our shower was broken. To use the shower we had to tie a hair bobbin on it to keep the plug up so the water would come out of the faucet. We also noticed what looked like fruit flies in the bathroom on the shower walls. Overall it was a mediocre stay.

    Really good budget hotel in walking distance from the ferry terminal and historic downtown. The room was clean and quiet with all the necessities for a night. We had breakfast included and it surprised us with the variety of food options, unlike continental breakfast in most US hotels. Friendly and professional receptionist Ksenia was very helpful, she is knowledgeable about the area, and she took her time to show all the places on the map we might need and gave detailed directions to most of them.. We used the spa with different saunas at a discount rate because we stayed at the hotel. The thing that surprised me was that the reception was closed at 6 pm, but all the questions could be answered at the spa reception. I would recommend this hotel in Tallinn.
