    This is the nicest Crowne Plaza that I've stayed in. The rooms were really nice, and modern, and the breakfast buffet was incredible.     Long-awaited visit to Crowne

    I have long awaited to visit this particular hotel, and so we finally did for a special occasion (a certain world-famous minimalist techno DJ coming to Helsinki for a gig). I've had a special hankering to visit this hotel for years, as I've passed it on my way to work for years, and always found it intriguing from the outside.The room was everything we could've asked for in the center of Helsinki; it was spotlessly clean, more than big enough for two people, and had all the amenities we needed. We never heard a peep out of anyone else at the hotel, nor any sounds of traffic.The staff deserves an honorary mention. From booking to reception, and our late-night return to the hotel after a long gig, everybody were extremely friendly, easy to approach and ready to answer any questions we might have. We also used the minimarket located at reception, and their carefully selected snacks came in handy after dancing all night long.The beds were wide enough for a restless sleeper and very, very comfortable. They were also pleasantly high for those with long legs. We had the standard room with twin beds, and were surprised how good they were.Another thing worth mentioning was definitely the breakfast. I've been to a lot of hotels between 2024 and 2025, and Crowne Plaza Helsinki had the 2nd best breakfast buffet I've seen so far, only outshined by a VIP one we had at a cruise (and that's a pretty high standard to reach for a hotel breakfast).Helsinki sights are only a walking distance away, but you can also reach the tram stops within minutes. Right across the hotel is Töölönlahti and Hesperia park; I highly recommend taking a long walk around the bay during summertime or a cool, calm winter's day.We absolutely would love to book again, maybe for a few nights so we could enjoy Helsinki as tourists a little more relaxedly.     Amazingly this was a first time to step-in to legendary Hesperia-Hotel in Helsinki. Really nice and classical building, no big highlights but also no big missouts as well.     Stayed here over a weekend in Helsinki and found the property to be really well located, a short walk from the centre. On arrival, reception was busy; I put the slightly frosty welcome down this. With that exception, everything throughout the stay was excellent. The room was really well presented, it felt like everything had been thought of in there; my IHG status was recognised, a late check out was accommodated - all great. I struggled to find anything with low or no sugar in the bar to drink but that just meant I enjoyed a glass of wine instead, no complaints there! I’d happily return to this property and recommend for anyone visiting Helsinki.     I had an unexpected and important visit to Helsinki for a very stressful long weekend. I chose C.P. (former Hesperia) for convenient location. The hotel, staff, location, external surroundings (Töölö area) not only met all my exceptions but actually made my particular weekend a pleasant one. Staff was personal and understanding, which is so rare in these days. Hotel has space and quiet areas to concentrate. Spa & gym are excellent start of the day and Töölö area is just a rare gem!! Heating during cold days (in Finland that is many) is a minus. Huge thanks everybody!
