This hotel stands among towering century-old pines at the edge of Lake Joseph, Muskoka. It is located outside Port Carling, known as The Hub of the Lakes. This quaint village is teeming with people in the summer, and come winter is a quiet, snow-covered wonderland. With its picture postcard views and romantic settings, this is as authentically Muskoka as it gets. Guests will find the centre of Port Carling, with its shops, just a 7-minute drive and it is 8 minutes to Johnston's Cranberry Marsh and 10 minutes by car to the bus station and the Muskoka Lakes Museum. The tourist centre and the nearest railway station are 35 minutes' drive away at Gravenhurst, as is Santa's Village. The hotel lies just 2 hours north of Toronto.
