  Terribly bad Christmas dinner & lunch, otherwise nice hotel and spa

  We had the Christmas package that included two nights with all meals. Here are our pros and consPros* Very peaceful and nice location, beautiful nature trails all over the area* Very kind and helpfull staff both in hotel and restaurant* Nice relaxing spa, not crowded in the the early morning hours after 7* Nice clean and big rooms with balcony* Nice tasty breakfastCons* Terribly bad food at Christmas dinner and lunch, yuck! Never had that bad food anywhere. Mr Hotel Manager, you know very well that lots of guests have complained about the low quality food served at your hotel. Please take this very serious, make a change to good ASAP, otherwise you will loose guests rapidly, thank you! For this I am truly sorry.As I wrote, we are working to imporve the quality. The next change for the menu is on beginning of March and I believe this change will improve the quality. Before that we work in daily basis to improve the quality of service and food we have in the menu at the moment. About the Christmas dinner and lunch, I am sad to hear it felt that bad. The feedback for those days have been mainly positive, but I respect your opinion and apologize the food was not what you expected.I appreciate that you also found good things in our work.   Lovely, not crowded

  A nice quiet spa hotel in the midst of faraway. The standard room includes a mini bar but no kettle or coffee making means. We also had a balcony.The pools were not crowded although it was Saturday, it was a nice surprise. We loved the outside pool the most! In the middle of January, swimming outside in the warm steaming water was a memorable experience indeed!The breakfast covered all food types, vegan and gluten-free included. I will be back.   Cosy and quiet with the most friendly staff

  Had second visit in Siuntio. Were prepared with the colder water in the pools, but still did not manage to avoid the expensive and over priced menu... This would be PERFECT weekend gettaway for families, if the pool was bit warmer, and they paid attention to the menus.. Price and quality totally do not match.Had the FRIENDLIEST staff and life guard! <3

  Isolated place - in good and bad way

  This is a spa resort. Spa is a bit outdated, only few pools (two indoor, one outdoor) but was OK since not much visitors. Hotel rooms are basic, no air-conditioning and very hot during summer. Surrounding forest is great for outdoor activities (we picked blueberries and raspberries).Things to remember- no aircon in rooms, they get intolerable hot in summer days- no kids pool in spa (all pools at least 120 cm / 4’ deep).- only one restaurant in hotel and in area. Very limited menu and veeeeery slow service (allow yourself 90 min for a la carte).Place was quiet. No traffic or other noises.   Old, but functional spa

  In the middle of nowhere, but still close to Helsinki. Countryside, old fasioned spa. Good spa services. Excellent, local bred beef in the restaurant! Big plus for that!! The restaurant staff sholud know better if they serve local or not. Iknew better myself!!
