Location

    Hotel charges personal card not corporate card behind your back

    They tell you they would charge your company's corporate card.And after you check out and on the way to the airport - they use your personal data and charge your personal card instead!Utterly unprofessional.

    Well placed for arrival by train, around 3-5 minutes walk. Friendly welcome and I found every member of reception to be really helpful. It was nice of them to provide me with fresh milk for making tea in my room. Reception also organised a take away breakfast on my departure date. The breakfast room provided a calm, relaxed and very comfortable start to the day. Breakfast itself was very varied and well presented.My 2 negative points regard my room. Firstly, I encountered an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, similar to drains. Secondly, the tea/coffee station had 3 plug sockets, none of which would allow me to plug the kettle into. I tried other devices with no success. Consequently, I had to boil the kettle next to the bed which was neither convenient or safe.

    We were very pleased with the breakfast: the selection was wide, and the food was freshly prepared. The staff was all courteous and efficient, especially the front desk staff, who were very helpful in giving us information about local attractions.We were disappointed with the services provided for guests in Business rooms. We paid a premium for a business room that was to include access to the Executive Lounge; however, when we arrived, we found that the Executive Lounge was being phased out, and guests in Business rooms were given vouchers to use at the bar instead. The voucher included one drink per person and a plate of appetizers that looked as though they were leftovers from the breakfast buffet.

    I really enjoyed my time here, the staff were friendly and was was always greeted on passing reception and at breakfast. Breakfast itself had a great choice and was lovely. The location is fabulous and only a few minutes walk from the central station and shops. The area felt safe and I did not hesitate to walk back late to the hotel. Just fabulous
