    Very expensive price for less than basic hotel room.

    The only positive thing about this hotel really is the very helpful staff on the front desk. To be honest for the eye watering price I paid for two nights $500 in Australian money , this hotel was far too expensive for what it offered. There is no kettle in the room to make tea. No fridge , no cups , i was told I can use the pay machine in the lobby and take it to my room . Not very handy for a 70 plus lady at 6 am . The hairdryer literally died in my hand with sparks flying out of it. After requesting a kettle and being declined I gave up on asking for another hairdryer. The second day , the air conditioner was on full blast blowing arctic cold air and it could not be adjusted so I had to sleep in my coat to be warm enough , NO , there are no extra blankets. It is ok to charge big prices for a room if the value is there and good service is provided. But this hotel is not showing any care for the comfort of its guests . The lack of basic amenities do not match the price of the room. Besides , on selecting this hotel when I saw the photos of the rooms , one can see clearly see kettles on the tables in the rooms as well as refrigerator doors , so this is clearly false advertising.

    We stayed two nights in this hotel and were very satisfied. The room was tiny, but clean and warm, beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has very good connection by public transportation. There is a subway station just next to the hotel and the tram station in front of it. It was a perfect choice and I can recommend it.     Nice hotel with handy location 1.5 kms from Helsinki railway station, less than 10 mins by either subway, tram or bus. Small, colourful and simple rooms. Friendly staff and very good breakfast.
