    We travelled as a group of four adults with a 15-month-old baby. I was a little cautious when booking this hotel due to some of the reviews, but we honestly couldn’t fault our experience. We stayed in Chalet 6 and it was perfect - warm and cosy (sometimes even too warm!). The chalet had all the utensils, plates, and cooking equipment we needed, and having an oven was a huge bonus as it meant we could shop at the supermarket and cook our own meals.All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Two members of our group also had ski lessons and used the slopes, which they really enjoyed. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault our experience at all

    How is this classed as a hotel ? It’s more like a school canteen at meal times, scrambling for a table, the staff then have the cheek to tell you you need to scrape your food into the bin, clean the table of all plates and glasses whilst they are standing behind a bar doing nothing ! Food was gross, nothing good about this hotel at all ! Bar service was awful, never stocked properly. Canterbury should be ensuring this hotel is much better than it is considering the cost of the holiday. It was a real downside to what would have been the perfect holiday if not for this awful excuse for a hotel.

    We used the hotel facilities as part of our Canterbury Travels Lapland trip. We wish we had known what we were in for. The food was cold, basic and lacked variety. Food choices (the few there were) were not replenished efficiently. The queuing system at mealtimes was ridiculous - squashed and disorganised. Staff were (for the most part) miserable and we felt as though we were putting them out asking for anything. The bar generally had one member of staff on despite huge queues. There was no system for being served and you had to rely on your fellow patrons to be honest about the order people had arrived. Getting a table was very difficult and we often had to clean our own table (when we got one). And the toilets…utterly disgusting! I imagine prisons are better run than this hotel…and provide better food!

    Bar, restaurant and view amazing. We all loved the ski slopes. Friendly staff and lovely food. Manager came to meet us at the table gave kids free ice cream, locals were friendly. We’ve booked again for next year! The lunch buffet was nice and good value. Drinks expensive but that’s same over all of Finland!

    Hotel in Finland that has only english/frech/chinese/portugal speaking staf.. Visit was short and different than normally in Finland.Staff most friendly and hotel small but very nice.View is amazing! Recommed in winter and summer too
