Air con switched off lowers rating from excellent to average
08 Apr 2025
Does everything the brand should. Spacious and comfortable room with a little extra investment in style. Convenient location for railway station, city centre and attractions. All offered at an incredibly good price. However air conditioning was either switched off or not working and we really could have done with it on a very hot evening. Seems an odd situation when the facility is there. Didn’t get as comfortable a sleep as we could have done and this brings my rating done.

Well located, good hotel
15 Oct 2022
The hotel is well located, being only 10-15 minutes from the train station and about the same to the old town and the cathedral. I liked that they’d made a rather plain building look prettier by planting window boxes of red geraniums. We were allotted a spacious room on the 3rd floor, (301) larger than the normal Ibis room and facing the front. Fairly quiet but we could hear a little bit of road noise and some noisy kids! There must be a school across the road.Enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink after we prompted the receptionist. Close to restaurants. We didn’t try the breakfast as there was a good bakery a couple of doors down.

A little disappointing
16 Aug 2020
Im a fan of Ibis budget but by far this was the one I found the most faults with. There were not enough towels, the bunk bed was not made and the shower leaked but no rug was placed. When I went to ask for towels, none of the girls working in the morning spoke English, Spanish or Catalan so it was extremely difficult to communicate with them. Although the hotel was one of the most beautiful Ibis budget we’ve been in I’m not sure we would recommend it. Paul RAGOUBA, Autre at ibis budget Albi Centre, responded to this review Cher client,Merci de prendre le temps de partager avec nous vos impressions sur votre séjourNous déplorons que votre séjour n'ai pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, Dans les Ibis Budget; il n'y a pas de tapis de sol prévu, aussi, le troisième lit n'est jamais fait, c'est pour cela qu'il n'y a pas de supplément troisième personne, de plus cette page est celle de l'Ibis et non l'Ibis budget Tous nos collaborateurs savent parler anglais ou espagnol et la plupart d'entre eux métrisent les deux langues, quant au catalan, non en effet, il s'agit d'une langue régionale qui n'est pas enseignée dans le sud ouest de la FranceAu plaisir de vous recevoir de nouveau afin de regagner votre confiance,Paul RAGOUBADirecteur Dear Customer,Thank you for taking the time to share with us your impressions of your stayWe regret that your stay did not meet your expectations,In the Ibis Budget; there is no groundsheet provided, also, the third bed is never made, that's why there is no third person supplement, moreover this page is that of the Ibis and not the Ibis budgetAll our employees know how to speak English or Spanish and most of them master both languages, as for Catalan, no indeed, it is a regional language which is not taught in the south west of France. We look forward to seeing you again in order to regain your trust,Paul RAGOUBADirector

Poor experience
22 Sept 2019
We booked 7 rooms via booking. Com with confirmation and further standard e mail 2 days before arrival .On arrival told no booking even though they traced it on the system. Blamed it on "system error " and also tried to blame booking. Com. No apology. Found alternative rooms for us in town on run down industrial estate with clientele who lets say did not make us feel safe. Unable to get back to town as no taxis available. There was nowhere local to eat so we went hungry. Whole holiday evening was ruined. If I could give a worse rating I would. Very angry at poor handling of problem. Will not use Ibis or Booking.com again

Very pleasant place to stay, as with most Ibises.
