Consistent in terms of service & cleanliness

    rating14 Apr 2026

It’s our third time to stay at Adagio Annecy, and so far we feel that they have been consistent with their service and cleanliness. It is vsituated very close to the train and bus stations and also quite close to the old tiown. Very nearby is a mall with a big monoprix grocery where you can get your supplies. Coffee is free all day. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is also very complete. They could do some improvements with their tiwels. They seem old already. There is a laundry room you can also use on the fourth floor. & cleanliness.

    Space to breathe in Annecy

    rating22 Feb 2026

I stayed at the Aparthotel Adagio Annecy Centre and, overall, it’s a very solid option if you value space and practicality over lakeside romance. The location is convenient rather than picturesque. It sits right by the train station, which makes arrival effortless, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the main shopping centre. And it’s about 10 minutes on foot to the lake and the Old Town. You’re not waking up to alpine views, but you are extremely well positioned to get around easily. The lobby is comfortable and welcoming, with a modern, slightly playful feel. Table football adds a bit of personality, and the complimentary tea and coffee is a nice touch. It feels relaxed and functional without being sterile. The apartment itself was a pleasant surprise. Clean, well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The decor is modern, with warm wood tones and muted greens giving it a contemporary feel. There’s a proper sitting area with a sofa, a dining table and chairs, and a well equipped kitchenette tucked neatly into one wall. Microwave, hob, kettle, dishwasher and decent storage make it genuinely usable rather than symbolic. The bedroom area had a large, comfortable bed and good separation from the living space, which makes it feel more like a small flat than a hotel room. Storage was practical and sufficient for a longer stay. The bathroom was a good size, featuring both a bath and a shower, which is always welcome. Clean lines, modern fittings and plenty of space to move around. One of the highlights was the balcony. Generously sized, with space for a small table and chairs, it offered open views across the surrounding residential area and towards the hills beyond. It’s not a postcard lake view, but it gives the apartment light and a sense of space that many central hotels lack.Wi-Fi was reliable, and overall the property feels well suited for longer stays, families or anyone who prefers having the option to cook and spread out.In short, Aparthotel Adagio Annecy Centre may not have the charm of a boutique Old Town hotel, but it delivers comfort, space and practicality in a very convenient location. If you want room to breathe in Annecy, this is a very sensible choice.

Convenient Location, But Falls Short of 4-Star Expectations

    rating06 Oct 2025

The hotel is conveniently located near the main station, making it easy to access public transport. However, the rooms are very basic and could be cleaner. There were no vanity kits provided, and overall amenities fell short of expectations for a 4-star rating. On the plus side, the internet was of good quality and breakfast was quite good. Unfortunately, it's not the best value for money and does not live up to its advertised star rating. Franck MUGNIER, Owner at Aparthotel Adagio Annecy Centre, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at our adagio.I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.Sincerely

    Centrally located

    rating20 Jul 2025

The hotel is central and around the corner from the railway station. We received an upgrade to a 4-person apartment, which was a kind thought. It was unfortunately on two floors though and directly under the roof of the building. It has a great view, fairly clean and with plenty of space, but with daily temperatures over 30 oC and weak air conditioning, it was rather warm and stuffy. Nevertheless, the extra space was appreciated. The breakfast buffet was relatively chaotic, placed across a narrow wall and nothing spectacular. It regularly looked ransacked. The scrambled eggs didn’t even taste like eggs. In retrospect we should have prepared our own breakfast in the room. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful.
