Wonderful located hotel. Although presented as 4**** hotel, actual experience is definitely 5*****!Check in process is wonderful, reception and concierge are very friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean, spacious and with stunning lakeside views (on request). Breakfast is luxurious and fresh and tasteful, bar is lovely and the outside terras is great! Staff is again very friendly and service minded!Restaurant La Table offers great meals and wonderful selection of wines. A place to come back to!

We stayed four nights and found the location and the rooms to be quite relaxing. The room was spacious and had nice windows that opened on the front of the hotel. A bit dated for five stars, but very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job of refreshing our room each day and all staff we encountered were very friendly.The position of the hotel right on the lake promenade and less than a mile from the old town crowds makes this a beautiful and quiet location. Walk either direction for beaches, benches, picnic areas and boat and water sports rentals. Our favorite spot was a shady bench to read or enjoy snacks or lunch with a view.We loved the chocolate chip cookies and sandwiches at the nearby bakery Pan & Gato for picnics.I was surprised to see the gardens looking so dry and unkempt for a hotel such as Imperial Palace. Be sure to ride the boats that depart from the canal near the old town for even more stunning photos views of the entire lake.

Not a well run hotel. For the high price you can get much better service. Restaurant isn’t bad but reception, bell desk, housekeeping, etc provide very low customer service for this price. As noted, the grounds provide no lake access and you are a 15 minute high traffic walk to the town area of Annecy.

Not the first time we have stayed here. Great hotel in a fabulous location and with great staff. We will stay here again for sure. Terrace is the best feature with wonderful views over the lake

A great stay in Annecy. Perfect location away from the center noise and tourists. The room was spacious, well decorated, quiet at all times and all the amenities we needed. Service was very good (cleaning, room service, reception, spa, restaurant, valet parking). The hotel is expensive but there is value in it.
