  Awful hotel, nowhere near where near a four star rating, drab, poor quality, avoid this hotel

  Disinterested staff, grey drab reception and lounge, no real facilities, room musty, threadbare linen, towels and quilt. Stain on very poor quality carpet, our rooms felt like a one bedded flat in a run down hostel. Cheap painted (chipped) furniture. So called garden more like an unkempt overgrown wasteland.Very disappointing, not worth the money, avoid this

  Where do I begin?? After a day of sightseeing, we arrived at this hotel and all four of us adults were allotted Room 355 - a suite. One of the 2 bathrooms was locked and a terrible sewer smell was coming from under the door. After reporting this to the front desk, my sister was told "that was the way it was". So, 4 adults sharing one bathroom! The furniture was old and stained. The beds were not bad but the shower dripped all night and the hair dryer sounded like a lawn mower. 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults and one towel each. In the evening after returning from dinner, there were signs in the elevator that the water would be shut off to the whole building at 9:00 am the next day! Terrible terrile experience. Stay away!

  Service time at restaurant: Waiting about 40 minutes after the meal — even after reminding the waiter — for a simple espresso and a pre-ordered dessert is unacceptable. Staff appeared more engaged in chatting among themselves and polishing glasses at the bar than serving guests. Very disappointing service and poor management
