Incredible stay
22 Sept 2026
The hotel itself is beautiful, historic and very comfortable. We were upgraded on a complimentary basis because it was my husband’s birthday to a junior suite! The hotel gave us a free bottle of champagne and a desert from them. This was very kind and made our stay so special. The suite was spacious and comfortable. There was a record player in the room! We had dinner at their Michelin star restaurant which was a set menu and had 12 courses. Very clean and luxurious. Super quiet. It was incredible and I would definitely recommend it. We had a massage and facial at their spa which was relaxing. The location is good. It’s away from the tourist areas but not too far. The breakfast was limited for a five star hotel. The spa services were did (massage and facial) was okay.

5-star experience in a Beautiful Setting
07 Aug 2026
We had an excellent stay at Cedre Beaune which served as our home base while traveling to vineyards for winetasting in Bourgogne. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the city center where you’ll find great restaurants, shops and a pedestrian area. The service all-around was 5-star and the room was clean and tastefully decorated with modern amenities. We loved the buffet breakfast with an assortment of fruit, cheese, yogurt, fresh juices, pastries, eggs, sausage, etc. The outdoor terrace is just beautiful and a pleasant setting for dining or simply a glass of wine in the evening. In terms of service, room, dining options, and amenities, the hotel was a very good value. We will definitely return to Cedre Beaune for future stays!

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Beaune
03 Aug 2026
Cèdre immediately feels like a luxury hotel without being overly formal or pretentious. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches in the room for both adults and children, it was clear that guest experience is a priority. The hotel is beautifully presented, ideally located within easy walking distance of the centre of Beaune, and the quality of both the food and cocktails was exceptional. We had originally planned to dine in Beaune, but after seeing the hotel’s Restaurant Gastronomique, we decided to book a table there instead—and we’re very pleased we did. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, whilst the children ordered from the children’s menu. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us, with both children happily trying many of the tasting courses and even enjoying the amuse-bouche. In hindsight, we would probably have chosen the à la carte menu instead, simply because the overall dining experience was a little too lengthy for our family on this occasion. The quality of the food was never in question.Breakfast offered an excellent selection and was one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced in France.Overall, Cèdre exceeded our expectations and is a hotel we’d happily return to. It’s an excellent base for exploring Beaune, or an excellent stop off if you’re heading south and one I’d recommend without hesitation.Pros* Beautiful hotel* Excellent location* Thoughtful welcome gifts for both adults and children* Comfortable bed* Peaceful and quiet* Exceptional quality food at the Restaurant Gastronomique* Excellent cocktails* Excellent valet parking service* Excellent breakfast selection* Spotlessly clean Cons* Shower lacked pressure* Terrace service was a little slow* The tasting menu was a little too lengthy for our family on this occasionOverall9/10

Spectacular Stay!
19 Apr 2026
Spectacular stay—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely lovely. Our room was stunning (and incredibly spacious), and we were welcomed with the most delicious macarons from the pastry chef—such a thoughtful touch. Mon dieu! The location couldn’t have been better—just a beautiful, easy stroll into town and to the train. Do yourself a favor and stay here. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the spa and dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant!
