  The receptionist. Upon arrival I asked where the car park was. She quickly became extremely impatient. Due to never staying at this hotel before, I couldn't understand where she meant. So she had to come outside to show me and she became increasingly abrupt again. So upsetting and shocking!! I would never, ever speak to my customers in this manner. When my husband and I checked in, I mentioned her attitude to the very pleasant young man. She came back out, after hearing me, and was smirking and flippant. Her words were "I apologise if you think I've upset you but what more do you want?" She was not sorry, at all. So rude. This went on and on. Eventually my husband and I decided we couldn't deal with her. It absolutely ruined our evening at the hotel and in Beaune. Our hotel room was a total disappointment. Very old fashioned. Disgusting looking carpet. Bathroom awful and basic. All in all, in need of a total revamp. Not as the photos, on Booking.com suggest. Definitely not a 4star hotel

  Just outside the old town good value hotel.

  The hotel is situated just outside the centre of the old town. It’s really just a short walk into town. On arrival at the hotel we were met by two very cheerful staff members who seemed to enjoy their job. Our room wasn’t ready but we expected this as check in doesn’t start till 4pm. This seems common in Beaune. However check out was not till 12 noon so no need to rush in the morning. We had a standard room which was fairly small. The room had a double bed, tv, mini bar (which had free soft drinks and I think a couple of beers) and a small shower room. I didn’t think it was very expensive we paid £128 (€148) for a one night stay. This was in August so hight of the tourist season if you exclude the wine festival. It’s fine, you are not going to leave thinking this is the best place you have ever stayed but everything was clean, everything worked, the staff were pleasant. I would stay there again.

  Beautiful Hotel renovated , comfortable and quiet rooms

  Hotel located at the entrance of the touristic city center, you can easily reach it on foot. The rooms are redone , comfortable and quiet. This hotel does not have a restaurant but Beaune is a great place to eat!A plus is the parking to book at the same time as the room because limited spaces.   Wonderful breakfast selection of various pastries, yogurts, meats, cheeses, coffee, juices, salmon, vegetables, cereals, jams, mustards. Great service. Well manicured courtyard. Lovely bar. Extensive selection of local wines. Good sized rooms.
