  Okay hotel, avoid the restaurant

  Well it is number 1 of 1 hotels in Vosne Romanee, so they have the monopoly. And anything I say is not going to do anything.But hey it is a 4 star hotel with clean rooms and an unpleasant spa.Most unpleasant though is the restaurant. Pretentious and expensive without being good.There is a serviceable - even good - French restaurant 80m down the road. SO the restaurant is easily avoided.

  we visited the hotel in 2020 and it was very nice.but to this day I receive emails confirming new bookings that I never made.   Old, but not in a good way

  Quel dommage - The room was cluttered and the coffee machine had old water in it. So old, there was bits floating around in it. You know what else was old? The shower. Incredible. For a luxury resort, have the decency to replace broken pipes and leaky faucets. The restaurant was very good, though one of us did not get the main dish we ordered. Still delicious and I won’t mention the dirty glass or dirty cutlery, oh I just did. The dog was welcomed, but so he should have been at extra cost to the already expensive night at over 300€. What a pity for such a fabulous location.
