Gorgeous location - but you need a car to explore the region and St Jean de Luz

Pluses: Room and balcony were spacious and well furnished. Beautiful pool and sea view, with small wood on one side. Plenty of wardrobe space; small fridge, tea and coffee making options - however, very sparse with replenishing same. Cool and sparkling water dispenser available in reception with large bottles in room to refill yourself. Pool area spotless and very attractive, with good sized baby pool. Safe underground parking included. Friendly staff.Minuses: No food available during day - if having a pool day we had to get in the car (essential really) and find a local cafe as the hotel restaurant was not open during the day at all and the few beachside restaurants were also closed during siesta hours. We had a drink in the bar the 1st evening - very expensive and nobody else around - we never spent another evening at the hotel. Towels poor quality, but plenty of them and changed every couple of days. Perfunctory room cleaning - bed made and sink wiped. We only saw vacuuming of the room on the 1st day. Guest Relation, Owner at Hotel Erromardie Plage by Odalys, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your detailed review. We are pleased that you appreciated the quality and space of your room, the view, as well as the pool area and the safety of the parking lot. The friendliness of our staff is also something we greatly appreciate. We understand that the lack of restaurants during the day and the need for a car to fully enjoy the surrounding area may have affected your stay. For housekeeping, we remind you that the aparthotel does not include daily cleaning, but a cleaning service is available on request and at an extra charge, as indicated in the description. We will nevertheless pass on your comments on cleanliness to help us improve our services. We look forward to welcoming you back and providing you with an even more comfortable experience.Yours faithfully,The Odalys Vacances team

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in July 2025. The room was very spacious and clean, with lovely balcony with sea view. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Great pool and within walking distance of the beach. Regular bus from outside to town centre.

A hidden gem

This is a fantastic place. The hotel is beautiful and our room was stunning. It was bright, airy and spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful balcony that had good quality furniture on it and we were able to make good use of it because of the stunning weather. The staff here are first class. From check in to dining, everyone we met was so friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted you to have a great stay. We would highly recommend this place. The gardens are well maintained and the pool area is beautiful. The secure parking is an added bonus. We would certainly consider using Odalys at other places in France because of our positive experience here. Thank you to the team. missing a few basics,.....air conditioning, working hair dryer, hair conditioner, iron, ironing board. No comfort in the bathroom and separate toilet, which was more like a public toilet with the cold tile floor.
