Cute hotel close to centre of Biarritz

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Jules Verne. The theme is lovely. Rooms are small but the beds, bedding and pillows were so comfy. Shower was fantastic.Plenty of towels. Very quiet at night.All of the staff we met were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.Maybe could have been a little more variety but everything was tasty and fresh. We loved the self made pancakes and fried eggs.The pool area was very nice and the big grey fluffy towels were lovely. Bus stop around the corner to the airport is great and proximity to city and beach. Supermarket also around the corner is very handy.• The rooms are a little small but we knew this before we arrived. I stayed for three nights in a quiet spot close to the airport, just a short ten-minute walk into town. The service was top-notch, with staff who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional.The room was beautifully presented and impeccably clean—many thanks to the housekeeping team. It featured a comfortable bed with cosy pillows, a powerful shower, and high-quality towels and bedding. My only minor gripe was that the rooms were a bit on the small side, but I totally get that it's a city hotel.Breakfast was fantastic, offering a selection of local, high-quality products. The yoghurts, fruit juices, bread, and cheese were particularly delicious.Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay in the stunning city of Biarritz. Stayed for three nights in the apartment. A family of three. Apartment is a great size. Two bedrooms with good size beds. Big bathroom, large dining terrace, lounge and a kitchenette. Apartment was cleaned and serviced daily. This is a very nice hotel. Has a good pool with a small pool bar serving refreshments. Pool towels provided. The gym is small but well equipped. We hadn’t realised but you have to book it. Only allowed one person at a time. Some minor improvements: The big bread cutting knife in kitchen needs replacing. It’s rusty. Would be nice if the coffee pods had been replaced daily. No sunbeds on the terrace as per picture on website. Not that I wanted to use them as was by the pool but someone may be disappointed. Parking is expensive. The hotel location is great. A short stroll to the centre. There is a supermarket and some bakeries / eateries around the corner. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. In the restaurant there are books and board games. Would recommend and would stay here again. Great stay in Biarritz with pool!

We stayed here for 3 nights in July, the hotel staff were friendly and the room was comfortable, but the was bit too warm even thought there was A/C, could now lower the temp to cool. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the pool. The hotel is about 15 to 20 min walk to the main areas of Biarritz. There is a grocery store nearby (Carrefour).
