    We liked the restaurant and food was nice. The staff were very nice and helpful and the location good but that’s where it ends. This is not a 4 star hotel. Air con did not work and obviously had not been working for some time. Luckily the lady on reception brought a fan. The room, bed and bathroom very small this made the room unbearably hot. The shower was broken so I had to use as hand held. The light switch cover fell off. No fridge and only one bottle of very warm water. The hand wash bottle didn’t work. I would not stay here again.     Great location for town . Good secure parking . Dog friendly . Breakfast average , could have been better for €17. We will however stay again as it’s a great stop over on route to Spain . Rooms clean and bed comfy , shower good . Staff friendly .     Great hotel! The three of us had single rooms and all were spacious and very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was very good for breakfast, plenty of options for all including coeliacs. The location is excellent, 5 mins walk from the main bar/ restaurant area. The only issue was that the hotel bar was not open to the weekend, but with the bars so close it wasn’t a big one. The hotel was quiet and had a relaxed vibe, great for a long weekend. In the town all of the restaurants we visited (without any research!) served delicious food. The people in the area were great. It’s a few minutes in a taxi away from the train station so Biarritz was a short train away and San Sebastián and hour in the car.
