    Wonderful stay for a long weekend to visit Bayonne for the rugby. Great location and the room was fabulous. All the staff were incredibly kind and our dinner at the restaurant was out of this world! Will be recommending to anybody that we know coming to Bayonne.

    We were mostly pleased with our decision to stay here. The staff is caring and the rooms are decent if not exceptional. The location is quiet and so too is the hotel. As to our room, we liked the fact that they had acloset that didn't look like it belonged in junior high school. They have real wooden hangars. Kudos for nice lighting in the bathroom; something that is extremely rare in France. The bath/shower was ok, although old fashioned. Bed, fairly firm.Breakfast doesn't win any awards, except they have the good sense to have Lavazza coffee.The arrangement with the huge underground parking lot next door works well, once you find the poorly marked door to the elevator on their street. Remember aisle 7. You will be coming in from the other side, several acres away. But first, stop at the hotel. There are a couple of spaces available to unload. Then drive around to the entrance to the Tour de Sault Parking Garage, 6which is a good 6-700 feet on the other side of the Stadium.Bayonne is a charming city. The hotel's location is convenient for walking into the heart of the old town. They can also arrange taxi service if you need it, and it is quite good. As with most old cities, you really don't want to spend much time driving in the core.

    Great location , really friendly and helpful staff at Reception, in the restaurant and bar! In particular the wine waitress was impressive with her knowledge of local wines and came up with a great recommendation to go with our meal .The food was delicious and not overpriced , same could be said for the wine in the bar!

    Disappointing attempt at a splurge

    Sadly let down by these guys. The Junior Suite in the stone tower was beautiful as advertised as was the wonderful shower. About a month out from our stay, I was written by the hotel saying that they would be closed for the first day of our stay. Luckily I was able to book the Villa Koegui nearby for 1 night. I decided to stay here anyway because I was really excited about the unique room. What really spoiled it for me was that the room was very warm and the air conditioner blew very lightly and was controlled by the hotel to not go below 19 degrees. Breakfast was ok, no hot options other than boiling your own eggs. It was quite a contrast coming from the Villa where the AC was very efficient and the staff were great. It came off as a much more organized place to stay, despite being modern and less romantic.

    This was a very nice hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room. We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor overlooking the road, but heard no noise at all. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but all the same I would recommend this hotel for a night in Bayonne. The car park opposite costs 12euros a day when booking through the hotel.
