  We stayed here as a convenient overnight to get to the fete de Bayonne. It worked well for that—it’s about a 20-min bus ride to Bayonne. We ended up really enjoying this hotel, for the most part. The rooms are spacious, with enough room for our child’s rollout bed. The spa/pool is pretty special with several different kinds of hydrotherapies with warm salt water. It opens directly onto a lovely beach. The spa was fairly rule -laden so be ready for them to tell you what kind of bathing trunks, bathrobe and hair tie you must wear, for instance. One complaint we had is that we weren't told when we dropped our bags at the front desk that the hotel had paid parking available. We ended up parking at a garage 10 min away before finding out from a different desk clerk that parking would have been possible for us.

  This hotel is in prime location (on the beach front). It has been renovated a few years back so the facilities (room, gym, pool etc...) are in very good condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 10 days and had a wonderful stay. The only issue we had was the parking which is an issue.   Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. We sent multiple emails to the hotel to alter our reservation - we asked for everything from a refund, to moving our travel dates back, to letting our friends stay at the hotel so our money did not go to waste - and we even had our friends who live in St. Jean de Luz go to speak to the hotel the hotel about our unfortunate circumstances that caused us to have to cancel our trip to France. Initially, the hotel said they understood and they said we would have to work with the booking agent and when we worked with the booking agent they said they would accommodate if the hotel would work with them and when the booking agent reached out to the hotel they said they would not work with them. It is clear the hotel was lying and looking for any way to take our money and then charge for new guests to stay in our room so they get paid twice. With this kind of customer service run around I would not recommend this hotel. It is a shame as the hotel had multiple opportunities to find an option that would meet their business needs as well as put their customer first. What a poor way to run a business that relies on recommendations.   The hôtel and Spa are brand knew- high qualty équipement, Nice décoration, very friendly staff everywhere. Two downsides.: noise room on the 1 floor due to a lot of trucks delivering things to the close pedestrian are a early in the morning. Limited choice of food in the main restaurant and also inconsistent quality. There were excellent dishes as well as very average ones.
