Location

This hotel is situated on the Basque coast between the sea, golf course and mountains, right by the border to Spain.     the beast, beetween dream and sky. Ideal position at the entrance of biarritz but without the unseemly hubbub of this great city. a stone's throw from a more intimate beach with a lounge restaurant with a breathtaking view of the blue cargo. the residence has apartments with large volume with beautiful sound insulation and very recent windows. large bay window offering a relaxing view of a green setting, very recent and firm bedding as well as a favorably exploitable kitchen are the main assets of this residence nestled in a green setting.

    The staff was great. I showed up as Santa Claus and received an upgrade. The resort is a short walk to the beach. The resort was central to all of our sightseeing spots. The room was nice. WIFI needs to be improved. WIFI was barely useable..

    I just spent couple of nights with my family and it was not bad at all. Price is good, place is quite comfortable and clean. Check in and check out operations very smooth. bed room was minuscule, but for the time we spent there we found a very good average between price and quality

    If you want to and spend a holiday on the French Basque coast and you want to self cater, the apartments here are very good value. White and basic BUT with everything you need and comfortable beds. The only items I lacked were a bread board and a decent bread knife. Clean with nice crisp linen. With the money you save on accommodation you can afford to go to super restaurants. Lovely beaches, sea and sand - what more can one want.

    The hotel is conveniently located from the beach and golf course.The rooms are spacious n clean and the staff is friendly. We stayed here for a week with children and a dog.Only thin I found surprising was that I had to go back up to the room during checkout to clean with a vaccum(apparently dog hair was not cleaned properly, I wonder why we pay 40€ a week for the dog) Delphine G, Responsable réception at Residence Mer & Golf Ilbarritz, responded to this review Thank you for your message about our residence.
