    Worse than a sheep shed

    Many years ago on a walking holiday in Wales I spent a couple of nights sheltering from wind and rain in a sheep shed made of corrugated iron and of course covered in sheep droppings. That was luxury compared to this hotel - which is the first that I have ever walked out of within 5 minutes. After being berated by the receptionist for arriving at 7pm (keep in mind it’s listed as 4 star) we got our room keys and headed to our room. Aside from the plug sockets hanging off the wall, the two brooms hanging in the toilet, the concave futon bed and dingy decor and and beaten up doors - when we went to complain, using a lift that was decrepit, the receptionist had left for the night. This hotel is a health hazard. Whoever awarded it four stars was either drunk or had been slipped a chunky brown envelope full of used euros.

    The worst ever disgusting, dated, unfriendly, ill equipped place I have ever had the misfortune to stay at. The lift was out of order, the building was disgustingly dirty, the pool is filthy I wouldn’t even stick my little toe in it. Never cleaned at all. No children or anyone entertaining the pool. On top of this there was a huge Rat in the garden. If we hadn’t of travelled so far I would have gone elsewhere. It was only for two nights and atleast surprisingly the mattress was clean albeit no mattress covers were on it. This place should be shut down seriously. The staff /owners ? at reception obviously went to the Michael O’Leary school of custom service.Booking.com did not present this so called residence truthfully. Supposed to be 3star but I would only rate it a 1star and that was only for the parking and water pressure.

    Dirty rooms, dirty bathroom… awfull smell in the building… lots of noise… swimming pool was out of use and verry dirty. Old building with no paint… half of the electric points in the room did not work. Very expensive.

    Pool was not very clean. I was expecting an extra clean apartment due to COVID but in fact it was quite dirty, hence we didnt eat at the apartment or use any kitchen stuff. The staff told us that it was an upgrade, but we found out the following morning when we went to have breakfast, that we were supposed/paid for the 4* building where breakfast was served, not the 3* upgrade we had. It should have been much lower rated.Very dissapointed to be stuck in traffic crossing the city just to stay at such dissapointing place.

    DANGEROUS! at the pool a paving stone collapsed under my feet and my leg fell through, Very badly injured. Staff not phased.I had to call a doctor using Google translate (English to French).Dirty, grubby, no parking , false advertising. POOR value for money. AVOID Unhygienic for COVID, high traffic areas not cleanedBird Poo on the deck chairsthe list goes on...
