Location

10 km from Bayonne and 20 km from Biarritz, Ondres combines landaise and Basque tradition. On the Atlantic coast, in the middle of the forest of pines of the Seignanx country, this charming village opens up a world of experience for guests, from Gallo Roman ruins and the thermal baths of Dax to the fishing port of Capbreton and the Gascon gastronomy. Restaurants and the beach can be found within 1.5 km of the hotel. The city centre is around 2 km away and the station is 10 km away. Biarritz - Pays Basque Airport is around 27 km from the hotel.

    Not like in the pictures. Filthy appartment. Not welcoming staff. Needed to pay for linen and towels even though it was included in price (which we noticed afterwards). Delayed deposit refunding. The hotel area was not welcoming the guests (uncut lawn, low maintenance on houses etc). We stayed at 5 different places during our summer vacation at similar rated hotels and we were happy with the 4 others. But the stay at Vacanceole gave us a bitter aftertaste.

    I would not recommend this place because the accommodations and the place does not offer great facilities:Small bedsSmall roomsOld accommodation and not well maintainedI did like the area though but would recommend something a bit newer with better beds and facilities

    Great venue for all types of holiday maker.Good facilities, very safe for children, great//convenient access to all areas of France and Northern Spain.Great base to visit Bayonne and Biarritz.Local amenities are excellent.New facilities at Ondres Plage are a great addition.

    We went on a family holiday here in June fabulous location in an unspoiled part of France. This complex had it all nice pretty little holiday houses situated in a wooded area it had its own tennis courts and swimming pool and only a 10 minute walk to the beach which also boasted fabulous restaurants

    We booked this accomodation when travelling through to Spain. We only spent a few hours heer to sleep. But it seems a nice place to spend your holliday. Swimming pool, close to the beach. Kids friendly. There was a pizza stand with freshly made pizza. Accomodation was clean and good, we had a 8-person bungalow (6 beds and a sleeping couch for 2) with kitchen. The only thing I thought was strange, is that they asked us to clean the kitchen on departure, but that’s difficult when travelling through with no cleaning stuff in your luggage. But when you spend a few weeks there, it’s no problem of course.
