    Disappointing 2 start hotel, will not recommend it.

    It was our 1st time to France- Bordeaux and we were very exited to visit the region. To our surprise right after we entered the lobby it was a rundown, 2 star old hotel in a very bad, dirty and dark area. My wife and I were scared to even go out to the street.Carpet was dirty and stained, walled chipped and tiles broken. However the worse part was mold and mildew on the bathroom ceiling shower and bedroom. No wonder we immediately smelled an overwhelming humidity oder in the hallway and room. We will NEVER forget this hotel nor our arrival to France because of this hotel (not in a good way).It's very sad that we had to stop here before we continue our trip to Paris.Regards

    Arrived to immaculate reception area. Cool but functional greeting and check in.Room small but clean and everything worked.Stayed 5 nights. No towel change. No bedding change. No room clean. Unsure if this is normal here. I have never stayed in a room that long without cleaning and you have no tools to clean for yourself and no instructions for your rubbish. Location is easy for town. Staff are all nice except for one lady receptionist who I won't name but hospitality is the wrong job for her.I would not return based on the room not being serviced.

    We stayed in the hotel for 4 months and our experience wasn't satisfying! The cleaning service wasn't regular and they entered the room inappropriate hours. Also when we announced them(20 days notice)that we would like to leave the room earlier and asked them for a refund at first the manager accepted it and told us to send an email , which answered 3 days later with a negative answer and then she played with us told us in person that she would try and to give a partial refund and after one week another email that she couldn't do anything to get our money back! We didn't care so much for the refund but for her behavior. She treated us like we were idots!The rest of the staff was polite and helpful!

    Booked a room at short notice. Although room was basic it was spotlessly clean. The kitchenette was small but fully equipt. Bathroom was clean & tidy. Shower worked well & there was plenty of hot water. However, the towels weren't changed during our 4 night stay & the bins weren't emptied. Luckily, there was an electric towel rail in the bathroom to dry the towels to use again. It would have been nice to have had a change of towels & bins emptied halfway through our stay.The matress has harder than I like but wasn't uncomfortable. However, the pillows were not great & my husband & I didn't find them very comfortable. The hotel was quiet but as we had a room over looking the road & the fraffic started to build up from 6am. My husband slept through the traffic noise but i am a light sleeper so the noise woke me. There was a problem with a smell in the bathroom when we first arrived but we repored it at reception & it was dealt with the next day. The smell never returned. The hotel is not close to the city centre. it's fine if you like walking; it took us about 35 minutes. There is a tram station quite close & fares are inexpensive. There is a good regular service.There were no major issues at the hotel & it was ideal for a short break.

    Good accommodation with clean, large rooms

    The room was large and extra clean. The bad was extra comfortable.The downsides were that the walls were a little thin and we could hear the neighbors when they left in the morning.There were also some small damages in the bathroom, but overall it was clean and nice. There were no English TV channels.
