Location

The establishment is situated near the centre of the historical district of Bordeaux, just a 5-minute walk from the quays. Bordeaux hosts numerous sites of artistic, historical and architectural interest and several economically important activities, and is one of the most modern centres of the Sud-Ouest region. The apartment hotel is located near the famous Colbert Museum, the last important French destroyer (used between 1960 and 1990), which can attract more than 70,000 visitors per year. Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is approximately 30 km away.

Facility

21 apartments and 50 studios are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. English- and French-speaking staff warmly welcomes guests in the lobby. Amenities include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The apartment hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Superb location, city centre is reachable within a short walk, but the Chartrons neighbourhood is really worth it. Size of the room bigger than average. Very clean and quiet.

    Sheets were tacky, insufficient towels, bathroom not ventilated. Dangerously slippery to shower in the bath tub with no anti- slip matt availableBut location was very convenient, aircon ok... that's all i have to say!!

    I have stayed at City Residence twice, once with my partner and a year after with a group of students. We have been nicely welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. Everything was ready for the group beforehand, making check-in extremely fast and practical. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. What we appreciated most, given that we were a big group (28 in total), was the fact that the tram station is only a couple of minutes away. Nonetheless restaurants, cafes and some important landmarks such as the Cite Du Vin are easily reachable on foot. It's a very nice walk along the river. Definitely recommend and would not hesitate to return.

    Very friendly staff and great apartment. Big, comfortable and clean. In a really nice neighborhood, close to the city centre. You can go anywhere walking. Everything went smooth and easy! Great choice

    Such a perfect little hotel. It’s not fancy, but very quiet, clean, and comfortable. It’s off the Main Street, but is easily walkable to restaurants and the river, even with luggage, from the nearby tram stops. Breakfast isn’t included but can be purchased for 11 Euro each, and was very good with lots of choices. If in Bordeaux again, we would gladly choose this hotel.
