    value good, but there are some issues

    The aparthotel is pretty new and therefore modern. Staff is very friendly. Parking is at a secure parking lot and if you dont mind walking than the city centre is a 45 minute walk away. In saying this, it is not a nice walk, just along a busy road.I think the value for money is good. Kitchen block to small and actually not useable to cook. There is a very small fridge without freezer compartment. And there is also no table to sit, just the desk. Also the location is not nice. it is in an industrial area, surrounded by some broken down buildings.     Little bit of a walk from the train station. Be very attentive/mindful of the after hours game rules. They are doable but be prepared. You need to call a french number, get a code to open the main door and then another code to open a "safe" with your keys/envelope in it. Elevator, room is clean and basic, comes with a fan which is a nice touch when it is warm, very comfortable bed, friendly staff and good breakfast.

    Yes I have a serious complaint to make.  The first one is the most important.On arrival we paid in cash as we did not wish the cost to go onto the credit card as it is more expensive on exchange from British Pounds to Euro.The receptionist on duty on the 3rd August at 20.30 pm insisted on taking my card, even though it was o. the booking system and promptly took copies of the front and back...INCLUDING MY CSC NUMBER AND SIGNATURE.  This with a copy of my passport.  This is a serious breach of security of my card but she would not give it back on my insistance.  I have now tk contact my bank and cancel this card as the information was left behind the security desk...etc.We asked why this was the case and she replied its my job to do so.Today I asked to see the Hotel Manager...he is on a month's holiday.  Asked who was in charge in his absence...Head Receptionist..only works Monday to Friday...so who is in charge I ask, and this very young boy says me.  So, I say if there is a disaster, who do you call?  Wave of his arms.I also asked why a pgotocopy of just my passport and not my partner's was told because I was not French.Now I have been given a card with an email address begles@teneco.fr.The second complaint was the air conditioning which barely worked even when we enquired how to cool the room.  Twiddle to knobs at the top of the unit.  Well that made a load of difference.I hope you do take this seriously and I will be taking it further once I am home.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

    Good hotel, poor location

    The hotel was modern, rooms large with comfortable bed. There was a kitchenette provided with fridge but the fridge didn't work. However this didn't affect our stay. The hot water took a long time to warm up but we were in no rush. Easy check in and out. A good hotel overall but in a really poor location. There is nothing close by within walking distance. Good if you are staying as an overnight stop or on business but you need a car. There is gated onsite parking provided.

    We have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is close to the river. We just needed somewhere to sleep as we were visiting family. Nice big comfy beds. Secure parking. Quiet. Im not a fan of the Pillows though. Staff are friendly and mostly their English has been good. Last visit there was some old food left in the fridge but other than that it delivers a good night sleep. Small bar area which looks nice as does the restaurant. I think it’s more a business type hotel.
