  A great budget friendly hotel

  When we arrived, we were greeted by the receptionist who was incredibly kind and welcoming. We found that all the staff we spoke to were also lovely and helpful, taking the time to find the best routes to dune du pilat and Saint emilion (highly recommend both) and answering general questions about must see places in the city.The rooms were great, with all the amenities youd need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels / bed sheets too. The only suggestion would be for better quality pillows but all in the all, the sleep was good. I would certainly recommend this hotel for your stay in wonderful Bordeaux.   A typical Ibis hotel for a great price

  A typical smaller Ibis hotel in a gentrified area of Bordeaux just across the city center. Rooms have the typical interior of what you might expect, bed is comfortable and bathroom was surprisingly large. Staff was friendly and professional. It's 5 min walking from the tram to the city center and next to is is a large supermarket. Recommend.   Great hotel in a quiet area but easily accessible to the downtown area of Bordeaux.

  Hotel is in a good location. Easy to get to from the airport using the tram, just jump on the A tram right outside the airport and get off at Stalingrad tram stop. The hotel is 5 mins walk just around the corner and vice versa when returning to the airport. Probably the easiest transport link we have used in a long time.Hotel is situated in a good area. Easy to walk into the main area of Bordeaux. On foot it took us approximately 20-30 mins. Lots of restaurants, bars in the main area as well as historical sites.Room in the hotel was sufficient. Very clean with a good shower and a comfortable bed. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom which was ideal when travelling light. The only thing that let it down was there was no tea/ coffee facilities in the room but we knew this before we booked. Also that probably keeps it a low cost hotel. There is a lovely bakery called Qu4tre-Qu4rts just a few doors down that opens at 7am - 8pm every day apart from Sundays when they close. Highly recommend this bakery. Also a Carrefour market just behind the bakery.Overall a great hotel in a quiet location and would recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux.   Perfect stay! Dog friendly and kids friendly

  What a fantastic hotel. Dog friendly, clean, has games for the kids and a bar open. There's also a water station. Staff was friendly. Everything was great.We were unlucky that they were doing work on the main bridge to go into the old town, so we had to walk the length of the bridge under scorching sun with no shade, but a tram would have usually connected both sides of the town, so definitely use the tram to cross the bridge as it's a long way if you need to walk under the hot sun.

  Stains in the bedroom and hotel reception. The standard of cleanlinessis very poor.

  I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. The curtain in my room had a stain. The floor and seats at the hotel reception had stains too. I have provided photos to show this. I believe this is seen as acceptable at this hotel. The room was worn out, there were scuff marks on the wall and headboard of the bed. The bathroom looked clean but had a bad smell, even after being cleaned. Your room won’t be cleaned regularly unless you ask for this, and I don’t mean changing sheets, I mean cleaning the room in general. I didn’t have much interaction with hotel staff but they were polite for the brief moments I spoke with them. The only good thing was the breakfast. The state of cleanliness for this standard of hotel was shocking and I advise others not to stay here.
