    The Hotel Indigo is bright, modern and a perfect place to stay in Bordeaux. It is an easy walk to the center of the city, and as it is on the tram line, you can also jump on the tram easily get around the city. The rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. The staff are not only welcoming, but quite knowledgeable of things to do in the local area.Down the street is a nice little cafe for breakfast if you choose not to partake of the rooftop restaurant and bar. My friend and I did have dinner in the rooftop one evening and the food was quite good. All in all, I highly recommend the Indigo if you visit Bordeaux.

    Firstly a big thank you to all the staff here who could not be faulted in their welcoming and friendly attitude throughout our stay. I would like to mention in particular Aggie Alex and Matthew who really go that extra mile.The hotel itself was clean and spotless throughout with the decor finished in modern light colours which fitted in perfectly to the ambience of the hotel itself.The location is perfect in that it sits in an old town quarter which has the buzz and reflection of the friendly locals who live here.Great hotel, great location and great staff Fully recommend for anyone visiting this beautiful city

    I come to Bordeaux for work many times per year- and every time, I stay at Hotel Indigo. Before finding this hotel, I think I had stayed at every semi-decent hotel in the city, but once I found l’Indigo, I knew I’d never stay anywhere else!The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. There’s an actual gym—not huge, but pretty good by French standards. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and have really fun decor.The rooftop bar and restaurant offer beautiful views of the city, and parking is fairly easy—especially compared to most hotels in Bordeaux.Also the neighborhood of Chartrons is wonderful & much more quaint than the heart of downtown (but just a quick 10 minute walk away from the heart).If you’re looking for a hotel in Bordeaux, this is the one!

    Having stayed at this hotel in its previous incarnation as a Mercure we were very interested to see what had changed. We were made to feel very welcome at reception and shown to our room on the 4th floor. The first thing that struck us was the colour scheme, the room was painted dark blue, with wall behind the bed gold leaf, it was dark, very little lighting, some of the paint was very badly chipped, however it was very clean & the bed was very large & comfortable. There were no instructions for the safe. Plenty of choice for breakfast, unfortunately it was foggy so there was no view.I really didn’t understand the decor, it was sort of seaside with a tropical twist, surfboards in Bordeaux ? Maybe I’m getting old. On the plus side the staff were very friendly & helpful.Minus point there is a car park close by but these days there is no deduction for being a hotel guest.     Unbeatable location, helpful and very warm staff service

    Unbeatable location, only steps to tram line and the riverfront. This was my second stay here, both delightful. Staff service is superior; they constantly went out of their way to assist Anglo with poor French. The rooms are quite large by Europe standards. Only minor observation is that room decor is quirky, going a bit overboard to do whimsical theme colors. I would stay here again.
