Location

This family-friendly city hotel is right in the centre of Bordeaux, in a street with little traffic, lined with boutiques and restaurants. The farmers market Marché des Grands Hommes is close by, in the 'Golden Triangle' of Bordeaux. Links to the public transport system and Bordeaux Airport are both just around 10 km away, and a trip to the sea takes just around an hour by car.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1800. The hotel has 50 rooms, including 25 single rooms and 15 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     We enjoyed staying at this hotel and would go there again. The location couldn't be better, hyper central but quiet. The breakfast is really nice, with everything you may want, in a very nicely decorated room. The room was on the small side, but comfortable. The only negative point was the closet, which is way too small. There are no drawers at all, which is always useful for sock, underwear etc. But it didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay.
