This Merignac apartment property is near many local attractions and points of interest, including the Museum of Fine Arts (Musee des Beaux Arts), Bordeaux Wines Museum (Vinorama de Bordeaux), Grand Théâtre and the Bordeaux Opera (Opera de Bordeaux). Guests will find the nearest links to the public transport network just a couple of metres away in Merignac and there are restaurants, bars and nightspots all just a 45-minute drive away in Bordeaux. Lacanau beach is also just 45 minutes' drive from the property. The hotel enjoys a convenient location adjacent to Bordeaux-Merignac Airport.

Facility

    Disaster at Bordeaux

    The room smells like old stale cigarettes. The hotel has a bizarre layout and early check-in was not available so 15:00H was exactly the time. This is my second stay here and it hasn’t improved. The Spa is located across this meeting common area. The massage was adequate but no body wash was found in the shower in for after the massage. Not wanting to put on my T shirt due to the oil I was intercepted by a man who failed to identify himself. He demanded I put my shirt on in front of everyone. He was abrupt and rude and yes I speak French as I am from Canada. I tried to explain that I am covered with oil. He was working in the common area and I do not know if he is a hotel employee or not. The breakfast was adequate so this was one saving grace. There appears to be a colony of travellers across the road which made equally insecure. The heating system was a combination AC heating system and was inadequate. I found a dryer sheet or a nose tissue when I removed the foot runner on the bed. The smell of old cigarettes made me sick to my stomach and gave me a headache. I would never recommend this place ever again.

    A Great Experience in an Emergency

    We came to M & Spa only because that is where the Blue Valet service left our car when our flight was delayed past their 11 pm closing time. We took a taxi, got our key from the concierge, found our car, loaded it up, and headed off to the hotel where we had made a non-refundable reservation. Barely out the gate, I hit something and got a flat tire. I can't change it myself, so we decided rather than try to get assistance at 2 am we would just forget about the 120 Euros for the hotel and get a room at the M & Spa. We were fortunate there was one, and within our budget. Moreover, the concierge made a call to the night clerk at our other hotel, told our story, and in the end got us a refund. The room for 162 Euros with tax was big and bright, with a comfortable bed, desk, couch, kitchenette and full bath (with tub). We could not have found a better port in a storm.

    Lovely hotel but very poor service

    Stayed here for one night July 18th 2022 before an early flight at 6am next morning. Got lunch here which was lovely and used the outdoor pool which was also handy as temperature got to 40° Celsius which was too hot to venture out in. However the service at evening dinner was extremely slow, everyone was waiting about an hour for dinner. We didn't even bother waiting for icecream included in kids menu as just wanted to go to bed. Drinks were pricey enough in the restaurant too, like a coke was €5. Hotel seemed understaffed so maybe thats why restaurant so slow. Would stay again but eat elsewhere if able to walk or drive.

    Great stay during my business trip

    I had an amazing stay at this hotel during my business trip this summer. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was also there in 2020, the restaurant is still very good and the rooms have been renovated since which made it even nicer. I truly recommend this place.     Excellent staff and rooms

    I visited Quality Suites Bordeaux Merignac in May 2021 for a family trip. We were warmly welcomed and given all the explanations regarding the hotel facilities and rooms. The reception staff was well prepared, with friendly approach: they made us feel home.The hotel restaurant was closed due to COVID restrictions, but the staff gave us plenty of support for ordering food from some outside restaurants.The hotel has a large free parking, a nice bar and a very good selection of wines. The room was spacious, cleaning was well done and it was a pleasure to sleep in a bed equipped with a new excellent mattress. We used the kitchenette to cook and we found it well equipped with all sort of cutlery and cooking tools. I'm overall very satisfied and I would like to thank the staff for making so enjoyable our stay, we will definitely return.
