    A really nice boutique hotel

    rating12 May 2026

The Seeko'o Hotel is a very funky building near the Cité du Vin. It's about a mile and a half from the city centre so realistically, you have to take the tram to come and go but it's not expensive and the trams are very frequent and quick. Inside the hotel we had one of the Ba Ba Executive rooms on the top floor. It was a good bit larger than your average hotel room and had a very nice view of the lifting bridge on the Garonne. We had a balcony and although it was very small and inset into the roof it was a nice spot to have a glass of wine. The only issue here was the decking which was in very poor condition and felt a bit unstable as it appeared to have been constructed from pine which was rather inadequately supported from underneath. There was also a large step of about 250mm up onto it from the room through the patio doors. The shower room and toilet were separate and when you left the toliet, you had to walk round the room to reach the shower room to wash your hands since, amazingly, there was no wash hand basin in said toilet. This meant you had to use the door handle to open the door before you'd been able to wash your hands. There could have been a basin fitted if the builders had put a sliding door on the toilet but they fitted a hinged one instead that took up the space that could have been used to install a basin. There is an issue which would only affect people who are taller than about 1.7metres (neither of us are). The ceiling in this room (and presumably the others on this floor) slopes down towards the windows. The door to the shower room is right beside those windows and its lintel also follows the slope of the ceiling so its lowest point nearest the window is only about 1.6 metres or 5' 4" high. If you're a taller than this you're going to have to duck to get into the shower room and to stand up fully within it which is surprising since the top floor is built on the roof of the building so they could have made it tall enough such that this issue didn't arise, but for some unaccountable reason, they didn't. These rooms just would not work for someone who is six feet tall or more. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and they all spoke good English. A special mention goes to Charles who was particularly helpful on our late arrival on our first night. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay in what is a very nice boutique style hotel.

    Huge bath

    rating09 Apr 2026

Huge bath - comfortable hotel slightly away from the centre but on the Tram line close to Cite du Vin and restaurants along the river. Slight confusion as their confirmation said had paid when hadn't actually .

Very comfortable hotel in a lovely location within easy walking distance of the river cruise docks, even with your luggage. Right on the tram line. Clean and large rooms. Great service, good breakfast.

Modern hotel outside of Bordeaux’s historic city center

    rating01 Oct 2025

Hotel Seeko’oWe stayed two nights in this very new, hotel outside of the old town. The architecture is ultramodern and has nothing to do with the surrounding neighborhood. The was decor quite nice. The urban chick room was 27 sq. meters, larger than average rooms in the area. Unfortunately, it had carpeting, and although apparently clean, I’m not a fan of carpeting in hotel rooms. It is considered an eco-friendly hotel, and room cleaning is not daily although if you need anything, they will provide. I think rooms are cleaned every three days. We only stayed for two. The bed was comfortable and usb charging next to bed a bonus. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to town, but there is a tram stop conveniently located about two minutes from the hotel. The breakfast was good.Across the street are UNESCO Hangars, now the Bord'eau Village, offering shops, outlets stores coffee shops, restaurants and other services. There hotel has a parking garage agreement in a parking structure in the Hangar, but you can find parking on the side street as well. If you find a good price for this hotel, go for it.
