  Wonderful stay in Bordeaux

  The Hotel team was so friendly and helpful, the location was great to walk anywhere in Bordeaux, the room was clean , modern. Just perfect for a short stay. Opted for the breakfast and it was very good

  We recently stayed for four nights here and it was a good choice location wise, near to many of the sights. It is about a 25 minute walk from the train station. The staff were efficient and friendly and the reception area was welcoming. We booked a studio which had a well equipped kitchenette. The studio was also well designed for storage with a huge space beneath the bed,but it was definitely a cosy space! It was great to be able to make a snack, but although there was a small table and chairs there wasn’t much room to sit and enjoy a full meal. It was possible to order breakfast in advance for €14:50, but we didn’t try it. The bed was large and comfortable, but placed up against a wall so that might be off putting for some. The bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. We were too busy exploring Bordeaux to spend much time in our room, but another time we might book a slightly larger room as some had a terrace with tables and chairs. We liked the concept offered by CityStay and would recommend the Aparthotels.

  A really good choice - location is fine - 15 minutes to most of the top restaurants and the pedestrianised areas etc. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's worth booking the breakfast in advance [even the evening before is possible] as you get a reduced rate. The breakfast is buffet style, with all the essentials available: alternately boiled or scrambled eggs, cooked meats and cheese, cereals, fruit, pastries and all the usual drinks - not the absolute best, but good value for money. For stays of a couple of days ir costs extra to have your room serviced. The bathroom and shower were good. Parking is available, but we didn't need it.   Good location, some friendly staff, lacks charm of other European hotels.

  Staycity Bordeaux is located close to the city center. Some staff are very kind and helpful and others are lukewarm and guests seem like burdens. The larger “apartment” room has a convenient layout and the kitchenette is fully equipped with all the necessities. We had no issues with excessive noise, the grounds were very quiet during the entirety of our stay. We didn’t use the other hotel amenities like the gym or laundry room. We opted to get our own breakfast each morning. Don’t expect the be able to refill a water bottle or get a complimentary coffee or tea, all refreshments at the hotel must be paid for. It lacks charm of the independent owned hotels in Europe, but that’s to be somewhat expected, as it’s a large chain. Overall, a satisfactory stay.   StayCity Hotel is a clean and modern hotel located just outside the city center. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The lobby was decorated for Halloween, and flavored water and hard candies were available. The breakfast was adequate.The hotel is located on a side street that could not accommodate the bus. We had to carry our luggage from the main street to the hotel.There was no porterage or room service. The room was cramped, and the bed was pushed against the wall. The poor lighting made it difficult for shaving. This hotel is not appropriate for mature travelers.
