Great position but room small
12 Jul 2024
Excellent parking. Close to city centre.Room rather small. Very little room between the end of the bed, the side of the wardrobe and the bathroom door. Bathroom could have been made smaller and bedroom larger.Tv placed too high, made my neck ache Jérémy FOUCHET, Propriétaire at The Originals Access Hotel Bourges Gare, responded to this review Hello there!Thank you for highlighting our ideal location and parking amenities. It's great to know you found these aspects beneficial during your stay.We do recognize that the room might feel a tad compact. Our historic building has its quirks, and while we can't exactly push the walls out, we aim to make every inch count for a cozy feel. As for the TV, neck stretches are not part of our amenities, so we apologize for the inconvenience and will review the setup! We hope to see you again soon!Warm regards,Jeremy Fouchet - Directeur

Nice place
04 Dec 2023
Nice, very clean and calm place to stay at. The train station is just close to the hotel which is very interesting if we come by train we can rest quickly. Bourges is a very nice city to visit, the hotel is about 10 minutes by foot from the center where one can find an old style town with a cool shopping center Jérémy FOUCHET, Propriétaire at The Originals Access Hotel Bourges Gare, responded to this review Dear customer, we appreciate your feedback on your stay at our hotel. We are glad to hear that you found the hotel to be a peaceful and clean place to stay. We are also pleased that the hotel's location near the train station was advantageous for you. We look forward to your next visit.Jérémy FOUCHET, Directeur.

Really good room for the price
19 Sept 2020
Most importantly, our room was much better than those we have had in other budget hotels: spacious, big and comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, quiet and efficient a/c, recently renovated/decorated and very clean. Only reservation is the shortage of storage for clothes (a rail and two very high shelves not suitable for anyone of average height!), but not a real problem for 1 or 2 night stay. Secure car parking for €7, good value in city centre. Included breakfast served in more expensive sister hotel opposite: a very good and varied cold buffet with boiled eggs. A few weaknesses lost the 5th star: reception is in hotel opposite (could have been informed on booking?), this and the location of the parking caused three drives around the block! No lift: we just had an overnight bag, but shifting suitcases up 3 flights of quite awkward stairs from the car park would have been difficult for anyone. pascale FALLEUR, Propriétaire at The Originals Access Hotel Bourges Gare, responded to this review We thank you for your warm appreciations. We are delighted that you had a pleasant time in our establishment. I will not fail to pass on your compliments to the reception staff for their welcome and to the maids for their professionalism. We are sorry that it was not brought to your attention that we do not have an elevator. It is however indicated on our reservation sites, at the entrance of our hotel, and systematically announced by telephone. Hoping to welcome you again very soon in our establishment
