    Excellent parking. Close to city centre.Room rather small. Very little room between the end of the bed, the side of the wardrobe and the bathroom door.     Nice, very clean and calm place to stay at. The train station is just close to the hotel which is very interesting if we come by train we can rest quickly.     Poor experience, the staff can't speak english, the hotel hasnt got the lift and we found dirty towels in our room. The hotel is noisy you can hear the other guest and all the cars and people on the street.

    Most importantly, our room was much better than those we have had in other budget hotels: spacious, big and comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, quiet and efficient a/c, recently renovated/decorated and very clean. Only reservation is the shortage of storage for clothes (a rail and two very high shelves not suitable for anyone of average height!), but not a real problem for 1 or 2 night stay. Secure car parking for €7, good value in city centre. Included breakfast served in more expensive sister hotel opposite: a very good and varied cold buffet with boiled eggs. A few weaknesses lost the 5th star: reception is in hotel opposite (could have been informed on booking?), this and the location of the parking caused three drives around the block! No lift: we just had an overnight bag, but shifting suitcases up 3 flights of quite awkward stairs from the car park would have been difficult for anyone. pascale FALLEUR, Propriétaire at The Originals Access Hotel Bourges Gare, responded to this review We thank you for your warm appreciations.
